Berry Bakery

Some many places to choose from here in Berry. Choose this one as the queue was almost out the door. Considering that, the service was very calm and swift.Steak & pepper pie OMG amazing!!!! So was the custard tarts- pastry was perfect!Coffee was ho hum. Great vibes in Berry a nice short get away from Sydney.

Absolutely horrible experience. Ordered two pies and a coke, the lady working at the bakery was obviously busy. We waited a few minutes and we’re given two pies, and taken to the till to pay. We didn’t check our change, and grabbed the pies and walked out. We were then screamed at by the lady that we stole one pie extra, and told to come back to take our “one pie you ordered”.Walking back into the store, the lady was shouting at us claiming we had robbed her and making a scene infront of a full bakery. I then offered to pay the difference, realising we were given the wrong order and incorrect change. She then dismissed me and ordered we get out.I understand you’re busy, and people handle stress differently. The last thing you should do is attack customers for an honest mistake and cause an absolute scene infront of other customers.All customers in the shop came to us after and laughed about the situation, and how poorly she handled it.We’ll never be back here. Ever.

I bought an apple turnover recently and because the cream was rather yellow looking, I triple checked with the woman serving, if it was fresh. She assured me with 100% made fresh this morning". It was so not made fresh that morning or probably the morning before that as well.Next time

The worst experience!Terrible customer service, the person who was attending yelled at me for being a thief, just for taking some pies that she placed in front of me.note: the worst pie I've ever tried.Don’t even bother.

We went there a few time in the past it was just okay!Yesterday we were in Berry decided to have coffee and sweetTo begin with the lady that served us (short lady with dark hair) placed her finger in our take away cups so she could write on the cupDirty fingers which she had been serving others beforehand touching surfaces and money etcI was not happyAnd received the coffee it was so boiling hot!!! I threw mine in the binClearly she is no barrister and not hygienicTables were dirtySomeone has eaten before hand they didn’t clean it upDon’t go hereThey need to clean up their act!

Have stopped at this bakery for years. Always used to be fresh and gorgeous. Today I got the worst potato pie burnt on the top. Three half out. Apple turnover was edible. But both not fresh at all as used to be. The lady that served me could put a smile in her face it wouldn’t hurt either. Never going there from now on.

Berry Bakery is a popular tourist spot, with hungry visitors lining up eagerly out the door. Their Shepard's Pie was nice enough, however, their giant lamington square underwhelmed and was mostly indelible. Service was well organised and polite.
