Great service and wonderful showroom

This is April & kitchen reno that began in Jan still NOT complete. (i) Gap b/w window and cupboard not fixed. (ii) Dish washer that was delivered was damaged, delivery dates to replace dish washer has just been postponed again (4th time). Really disspointing as I thought KC has more appliance buying power.

We have thought very hard about whether to place a review on Google, eventually deciding we would after seeing the salesman who signed us up for a new kitchen. We feel embarrassed for him because he was fantastic, but the rest of the team let him down. We have read other reviews and some sound exactly like our situation. This company take full payment prior to delivery.....this doesn't sit well because then the client has no guarantee that they will come back to finish the work to the clients satisfaction - which I will add here was absolutely no fault of the installer. The project foreman did not measure up correctly and this created a lot of re-work, this was after the designer had designed and measured our kitchen also. So 2 people measure it and they still got it wrong, along with delivery of the wrong lazy sue, not providing enough bolts for the installer, not measuring the oven space correctly (which meant drawers had to be cut down and needed new faces), not providing the correct sink tray insert we ordered (which we later found out was not compatible with our style of sink). When the kitchen was in and we realised the space around the oven was too tight - the project foreman told us it was our communication error" he blamed us for the error - however we got the tape measure out after he left and discovered he was 10mm out in his measurements. We requested the panels down the side of the fridge be a specific width which we signed off on

We recently built with a kitchen connections and very happy with the process and outcome. The designer (Jane) was great, patient and professional during the design stage. The stone for the kitchen took a little longer than expected which was outside kitchen connections control. The tradies are excellent, very experienced and good communication, the finish is excellent. Not one door needs adjusting after 3 months of use, that has surprised me! They kept on budget too which was appreciated as we had over parts of the house being renovated at the same time.

Great company and service

This company will put a lot of pressure on you to sign on the day. It started with discount vouchers that expire on the day" (including a "special one just for you" ). It escalated to the point that the rep wouldn't leave and got very irritable when we wouldn't sign a 70k contract on the spot. When we told him we were getting quotes from at least 3 suppliers

We had a great experience instore with Guy who was absolutely fantasticHowever the designer Jeff is the reason we won't be going ahead with using Kitchen Connection. Straight up I said we wouldn't be doing the deposit on the day for 20% discount, we like to think about things a bit first. We asked for a kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a laundry however only the design for the kitchen was done, he essentially said he wasn't going to waste his time unless we agreed to the kitchen first. The design for the kitchen was more than the budget we had discussed for the entire project and when I asked for the design and quote to be sent through so we could discuss where to cut back he drew a pie chart on a bit of paper and said that was all he could give me (no quote and no design) unless I was ready to proceed immediately. He said instead of wasting time coming back to us on the quote he could sell 3-4 other kitchens so a decision had to be made.All of this escalated while my husband was in a meeting in the other room, he backed off when my husband came out. In the end his attitude made me feel uncomfortable in my own home. I took my babies and sat in my bedroom until my husband had him leave.

I would highly recommend the Kitchen Connection crew. The girls in the showroom, consultant Natalie, and Matthew Craft, you were very helpful and professional. Could have got cheaper somewhere else, but the quality was obvious. I love my kitchen. Also a big shout out to all of the trades involved, they were reliable, professional and pleasant.

The initial guy Stephen was brilliant and made our kitchen into a realistic dream working with our parameters. Unfortunately few hiccups on the execution but nothing that wasn't major and easy to deal with.
