Incredible gluten free food, super relaxed atmosphere, after every meal I just want to curl up and snooze on one of the comfy bench seats, great coffee too.

Great food and great people. Nothing was too much trouble. Service was prompt. Menu was really diverse with something to suit all tastes.

Lovely food, nice place and friendly staff. Chose to eat here for my birthday since I am a celiac and it was a very nice choice. Recommended for both those on a Gluten Free Diet and those who are not.

There is much more to running a successful cafe than having an accreditation for one thing or another, there are many moving parts like customer service and experience, menu, quality, skill to get right. Unfortunately Bread and Water fails on too many. The only part they succeed at is being distinctively gluten free.Everything about this place is amateurish, from the menu cards (there are none) the menu is on various black boards placed in random spots except where you need them. The drinks menu scrawled on a brick wall is like looking at a Jackson Pollock painting. Your local Bowlo would likely have a more considered and executed menu. The customer service disappeared somewhere ( probably next to the redundant menu cards). How Bread and Water has survived this long would only be attributed to being exclusively gluten free. (Spoiler alert) other cafes can do gluten free without the accreditation. I did spy a nice bottle of Audrey Wilkinson something in the fridge and thought who are they kidding?

Excellent food and service, lovely atmosphere, reasonable prices - what more could you want? As a person with a family member with coeliac disease, it's such a relief to be able to go to a cafe and know the food is totally gluten free but still really tasty. Highly recommended.

2nd visit and never again. The staff (an older lady) made us feel very unwelcome. Made us pay up front whilst others had the privilege of paying after they'd eaten. Food was not good. I ordered poached eggs and they came out hard like boiled eggs, 1 order took too long, they got another order wrong. Coffee was horrible, we think the milk was either off or burnt. If you like feeling welcomed and comfortable when you spend your hard earned money, don't go here.

Food was delicious and meals were huge! Barramundi was fantastic! The price is a little high but worth it. The coffee was great and smooth, slow pressed OJ was fresh and tasty. The mushroom sauce came in a little sauce bowl, it was a generous portion and worth the $6! The atmosphere was lovely, nice music and artistic decor. Highly recommend this cafe

Love the fact that it's 100% gluten free, food not too bad but the vibe was very depressing, staff didn't seem happy and chef was heard swearing at lady that was on.The place could do with a bit of an freshen up and a good clean. This cafe restaurant could be an absolute success if it was run correctly.

Worst experience. Staff are rude, food mediocre. The woman running the show yelled at her patrons. DO NOT GO!
