The Ruff Barn

Our two springer spaniels stayed with Dacie for two weeks while we went overseas. It was the first time we had put our dogs in boarding and we couldn’t be happier with the experience and level of care we received for our fur babies! From the get go the response and communication from Dacie was prompt, professional and reassuring. Our dogs have two very different temperaments which Dacie managed so well. We received daily updates, photos and videos and our dogs had the best time. The dogs who board stay inside with Dacie which gives it such a homely experience which other boarding facilities just don’t provide. We will be recommending The Ruff Barn to all of our friends and family and won’t be going anywhere else!

Dacie and The Ruff Barn team have been amazing for our dogs. Our hyper active Koolie has the best time at daycare and absolutely loves Dacie. Would highly recommend for all dog owners.

Honestly couldn’t recommend the Ruff Barn enough!! As any fur mum would be, I was very anxious to leave my precious pup. But from our first interaction with Dacie, I knew Nova was going to be in the safest hands and well cared for. Nova so clearly enjoyed her time at The Ruff Barn and Dacie kept my mind at ease with regular pictures and videos everyday without fail. It was so reassuring knowing Nova was safe & happy and to see her having so much fun socialising and making so many new friends.Thank you Dacie!!

Finding Dacie and The Ruff Barn has been amazing as there’s a place I trust and have peace of mind to leave my dog. This was the first holiday that we left Loki behind, and he was very well looked after. Dacie sent regular photo and video updates and went above and beyond to ensure Loki ate properly (as he is a fussy eater), which was very reassuring and thoughtful. Loki was relaxed and happy when he got home, which shows just how well he was being taken care of and how much he enjoyed his stay. I can’t recommend Dacie enough, and The Ruff Barn is definitely my go to for doggy care :)

Dacie looked after our 8.5 year old kelpie cross for 10 days over Christmas/New Year. It was our first time leaving him since he was surrended to us 2.5 years ago, so was nervous, but promptly answering our texts, trial days and overnights, and the short videos and photos really helped as we saw he was well looked after and mixing well with the other dogs. Dacie was well tuned in to our dog's needs and included mental stim during the day. We have no hesitation in recommending Dacie at The Ruff Barn.

What a relief to find Dacie and The Ruff Barn! We were apprehensive about boarding our young pup for the first time. Dacie took great care of Dart, with a huge yard to play in with all the other dogs during the day and comfy indoor sleeping arrangements at night. Dacie sent regular updates while we were away which was an unexpected bonus so we were assured that Dart was happy and enjoying his stay!Highly recommend The Ruff Barn!

We can't recommend Dacie & the Ruff Barn enough!!! Dacie walks our pug, Obi every week and is an absolute lifesaver when we go away. During Obi's staycays, she constantly updates us with lots of photos and videos throughout the time. We know Obi is always treated like a member of her family (lots of cuddles on the couch/bed) when he's there and he has the BEST time with Dacie and all the other dogs. 5 stars all round!
