Mirage Whitsundays

My husband and I stayed 1 night at the Mirage Whitsundays resort and I wished we booked more nights. Our apartment was massive and it had everything you can imagine. But the best part was the outdoors. Our room had a massive balcony with an outdoor pool. The view from the room was also amazing. Highly recommend Mirage Whitsundays.

What an amazing place to stay!Reception was super helpful with getting bookings for tours, and the staff at Whispers restaurant were friendly, The food for the buffet breakfast was excellent, and a nice view to go with it.If you have a car, parking is all under cover.

Mirage is a stunning resort in the Whitsundays.It is HUGE! One main dining area and resteraunt who offer a variety of dishes. They have two pools to choose from (I like the one closest to the bar.) Beautiful soft meditation music was left on in the apartment on arrival to welcome us to our tranquil space. Staff even worked closely with 'Karen Hill Floral Design'to have an AMAZING picnic hamper be delivered to our room, so we didnt have to starve when we got off the plane! Mirage backs onto the 'Boardwalk' which is a beautiful walk at sunset/sunrise that links Cannonvale to Airlie Beach and overlooks multiple harbours. The staff are lovely and the food is to die for! There is also a bus station at the end of the street for easy accessible transport.

Had a wonderful 5 day stay . Excellent service by friendly staff . The manager went above and beyond to help us on one particular day . Could not ask for a nicer clean comfortable spacious apartment. Buffet breakfast full cooked or fresh fruits delicious. Thank you for making it , a great break away .

This resort is truly amazing!Stayed here for 5 nights, rooms are very spacious, clean & beds are comfy to.Buffet breakfast was always fresh and delicious.Pools are great and friendly staffWe had a situation however the staff were very professional and handed it extremely well making us feel comfortable.Would definitely come back!

Staff friendly however food offered was sub standard even for snack bar, not authentic Indonesian generally food not to standard of resort it let's the experience down. Drinks good value. Rooms good.

Amazing resort!! Beautiful oceanfront apartments with private pool. Service from staff was exceptional. Special thanks to Mick, our shuttle driver, who literally went the extra mile!

Alright, there was lots good about this resort but I’m gonna focus on a few negatives to watch out for.1, There was a few times during buffet breakfast that I found pretty chunky bits of plastic in my food, mainly pancakes.2, The internet here is pretty bad, I know it’s regional so it’s not gonna be great, but if you need to work online here, good luck.3, During when we stayed, there was a huge monsoon of rain, now that comes with it’s own issues, but this place is not built for rain, especially the buffet breakfast area, as every morning when it had rained the area there would be flooded. There was even a time when we went to get get a seat for breakfast that the staff told us to sit in the “shallow end”, as if it were a pool.A few things I’d recommend are;Do not get a room near the pool as there are kids screaming in there all day.Plan ahead, look and the weather, and have alternatives in place if things go bad.Definitely buy mosquito replacement as there are a lot.And ultimately just have a good time, go for walks, enjoy the local towns, and maybe (if you are financially able to) go on a boat to see some of the islands. Just don’t go to Cedar Creek Falls, just please don’t.Everything else here was pretty solid. Everything was on par with what a resort should be. And apart from all the bad stuff, I had a good time.:)
