I was in Melbourne on business and was recommended to Kon by another mechanic. I deal with a lot of mechanics as I am in the automotive industry. So I normally get a sense for mechanics pretty quickly. Kon was so helpful and didnt take advantage in any way despite me being so far from home. Great communicator, and honest pricing. Wouldn't hesitate to use again next time I am in Melbourne.

DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC!!! I took my car in for a service a specifically asked if he checked the brake pads. His response was no, there is a sensor light in these cars. I have just taken it for another service and they found my pads and rotors completely ruined and said they had about 10km left on them and that this car was dangerous to drive. Since the last service I have only driven about 1000km because of lock down so I would hate to think what would have happened if I had done my normal 5000km between services. This man is not a good mechanic and does not care about his work. Thankfully I was not in a serious accident due to faulty brakes. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC.

CROOK! I brought my 10 year old Honda in with a faulty ignition coil. Con initially said it would be $70-100 for an after market replacement. When I went to collect the car, Con said that the best price he could do was $400 and I needed to pay in cash so that he wouldn’t need to charge me the GST. I called Honda Essendon and they were selling their original Honda ignition coils for $192. I got an OEM one from Repco for $138. Con was trying to tell me that I needed special and expensive “iridium coils” and he paid $310 for the after market coil. He promptly removed his after market coil when he realised he had been busted. His name is suitable, a real conman.

SHAMELESS & DISHONEST!Brought my car with loose spark plug issue, get quoted with the promise that it will be fixed. After 1 week, car is not fixed and the loose bits create loud noise every time you drive.The owner and only mechanic Con said it the noise will be gone in a month time, and asked me to come back so he could do a follow up service. Now, it has been 3 months noise is still there.So I went back there and he took no responsibility and instead of fixing the issue he asked me to park my car under an old tree so the branches will fall and hit my car so I could get a written off offer from my insurance!Such a disgrace! Save yourself the headache and look else where for a decent mechanic!

I initially wanted a RWC done, but ended up having my car serviced as well. For the first time, I was not shocked by a mechanic's quote. Con is very friendly, honest and would not charge for something you don't need.If I need any car issues fixed, I will definitely come back. Beyond happy having done business with Con. Need more mechanics like Kon, he'll go out of his own way to look after you if you're fair with him. Most of the time he's busy as he's got a lot of clients but once you do catch him it's highly recommended to create a relationship with a good mechanic like Kon and trust him to maintain your vehicle so you don't run into problems.

I’ve recently moved to the area and took my car to Kon for my first service with him. Very friendly mechanic and communicated clearly what work had been done on my car and had all the work clearly itemised on the tax invoice. I will definitely be a returning, regular customer. Very happy with the experience and service provided.

Avoid this service centre he is absolutely careless and doesn’t care about customers safety a but. I changed chain and sprockets on motorbike and he did terrible job, because he thinks he can work on his own and no staff needed. I had to change chain and sprockets again in two months.
