I just had my beautiful mink grey boards installed and I wanted to say a big thank you to the 2 girls downstairs who were very patient and explained to me all the different colours, lengths, coatings etc. I have seen your floor boards in many magazines and now my place looks like “one of those places”. Royal Oak Floors
We have built two houses using Royal Oak Floors. One house, that we live, in has a smoked French oak oiled finish. It has worn well over eight years and looks good, but with a patina of age, which is ok.However, the other house is a high end rental. It has a light coloured floor that has a factory applied lacquer. After only six years, the lacquer has worn off in multiple places, requiring the floor to be sanded and re-lacquered. Cost $3000 for 52sq.m. This is far too short a life span.The lesson is to buy the flooring with an oiled finish, not factory applied lacquer.

We have used Royal Oak for three homes now - because they are the best. Matt in the showroom is brilliant - helpful and responsive.the quality is also second the none and having used other engineered boards elsewhere, we would only use Royal Oak going forward. Highly recommended.

My experience with Royal Oak Floors was very positive. From selection of the right style of floorboards for my renovation, through to delivery and post-sales follow up. The staff are very knowledgeable and they provided excellent advice on the right product, installation methods and post-installation care.I would highly recommend Royal Oak Floors for timber flooring.

Rudest floor staff in Melbourne. Combative. Walk in the door with a sample and get It's not ours" before we'd even said "Hello". It's yours. I was confronted with a lot of push back and no attempt to assist in my enquiry. Wouldn't be buying from here if it wasn't a patch up."

My sister went into this store asking for some help to find her real-estate not far from this store and the guy walked out treating her like a peasant like she was below him, honestly absolutely disgusting the way they treat people I wouldn't recommend this store at all it's outright disgusting, to that guy that spoke to my sister the way to U did you truly need an attitude adjustment or treat fellow customers with some respect

Royal Oak have a great selection of high quality flooring options in a variety of colours, widths and thicknesses.Matt, Donna and the team have been very helpful with floorboard selection, calculation of quantities, prompt arrangement of deliveries and helping to resolve issues on site.Great service and great quality, couldn't ask for much more.

We have used Royal Oak Floors on two previous projects, and have just selected them again. The product is excellent, has a great architectural range and the team has been helpful and accommodative as we had some delays. Our current project is a Victorian house and we are going with the toasted oak!

Choosing floorboards is a big decision and let's face it, a key expense when renovating. So we really wanted to choose well. Our architect suggested we take a look at Royal Oak Floors. First, the website was easy to navigate. Second, when I contacted them, I got an immediate response. Third, when I visited the showroom, I was very impressed with the team's personable manner and level of knowledge. There's a great choice of floorboards on display too. Our experience from beginning to end with Royal Oak Floors and the team has been 'first class'. And, we're thrilled with our new floor!
