Darcys Hotel

What a gem. Less than a km from Strathfield Station in nearby Homebush. A large room on the ground floor that was clean and well appointed. Chairs to sit in and a very comfortable bed. Noise from the halls could be an issue but noise during our stay was not an issue. We were mindful of TV noise travelling to other rooms and kept ours quite low when it was on. Checking in with Andrew was a breeze. We will be keeping Darcys on our list of possible locations to base our stay in Sydney for future reference. Could have done with a Wi-Fi code on check-in. Had we been staying longer we would have had to request the password. Not a biggie.

Darcy's was a stunning place to stay, gorgeous old building well maintained, comfy beds, beautiful gardens, icy cold A/C, perfect to come back to after a concert. Only 'complaint' I would have liked if the bathroom wasn't shared but definitely not a deal breaker. Absolutely loved our stay here, would 100% stay here again. Thank you!

The best value for money you could buy! I stayed in a single king size bedroom and the room was huge! It was incredible. So much large than any 'basic room I've ever been in. Comfy bed

I stayed at Darcy's Hotel for three days and I have to say, it was a wonderful experience! The owner, a true gentleman, runs the place with such care and attention to detail, and the staff were incredibly kind and patient. They really took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and happy during my stay. The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, with a vintage-style decor and a charming garden that I loved spending time in. The hotel itself is beautiful, with an elegant vintage decor and a lovely garden. The rooms are spacious and fresh, with a pleasant scent throughout, and I particularly appreciated the large and comfortable bed, as well as the convenient air conditioning. One of the best things about Darcy's Hotel is its location - it's so convenient for getting around the city, with both the train and bus stations just a stone's throw away. If you're coming to Sydney for a concert or just to explore the city, I highly recommend staying at Darcy's Hotel - I know I'll definitely be back again!

Have been here 5 times since 2012. Kevin is a absolute delight to deal with and his service levels have never dropped and are above 5 stars.The rooms are large, comfortable, we have always preferred the ensuite rooms.The continental breakfast provided is great.Darcy’s is a beautiful old building in great condition.I have never stayed in better accommodation.Thank you Kevin and wishing you well.

Amazing historic hotel in a quiet location in Homebush. The bed and pillows were not very comfortable to me but the rest of the room, which included an ensuite, was very comfortable, spacious and quiet. And the continental breakfast in the lovely breakfast room was an unexpected bonus. There is free but limited onsite parking, and there is also free, unrestricted street parking. Overall, highly recommended. Thank you to host Kevin and his staff.

Spotless clean, spacious, has all required facilities . Wonderful host Anthony , will definitely book again when in Sydney. Shared spacious fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful lounge and they get daily newspapers. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, have wardrobes and full length mirrors, well ventilated. There is ground floor and first floor. There is a big lift for 1st floor and you have ramp from parking to pull your luggage’s up.

Not a great experience. The TV had a purple picture (too old), WiFi was not working, the room had breakfast included and this was not offered, the AC made so much noise and falling to sleep was very difficult. The place also lacked cleanliness. Will definitely not stay here again!
