Nice room & nice bathroom. Negatives: no microwave, no toaster, no plates , no cutlery provided, 2 coffee mugs provided only which were dirty which was not surprising as also no dishwashing liquid , scourer or teatowel was provided.The MiniBar fridge is so tiny that only 4 glasses fit and there was no freezer compartment. Really surprised about that as all other Motels we stayed at , provided the above listed. I am aware that a restaurant is onsite for dinner & breakfast - however not everyone wishes to use them.

Very friendly service. Food was of an exceptionally high quality for a 'Pub' meal. Could easily be on par with higher priced fancy restaurants elsewhere. Pricing was very reasonable as well.Range of wines although limited covered a broad spectrum of tastes sourced from quality regions. A larger selection is available for the beer lovers.Venue and associated facilities were very clean and tidy.Would highly recommend this place for a good value very high quality meal for business, family or couples.

Had an interesting stay ,the staff very friendly and helpful ! The rooms very very clean and tidy but ,very very small for the price and you cant park outside your room for most rooms. Is hard when you have a car fridge/ freezer. That need to be plugged In, as their are close external power points. we booked a $179 room and upgraded to a deluxe queen for $201 except the room was smaller, not sure how that works. Food was fantastic!

We went for dinner and had chilli prawns, pork belly, chicken schnitzel and kids pizza. Meals were delicious. Chilli prawns could have had a little more spice but otherwise plenty of flavour. Great atmosphere and good service.

Best food on the Tablelands by a country mile our new special treat for hard week's work. Always a creative special thoughly enjoyable dinning exp ,a good chef and kitchen team goes a long way and it shows in the quality of food. I was a head chef for 15 years with silver dining exp on the Whitsundays and coalfields so I'm not easy to please but this place does it for me. Kitchen staff should be congratulated and given praise well done!

Rooms are small but still ok for two adults. All is still new and clean. Restaurant is on site. Rooms do not have toaster and no plates. Coffee cups only. Air-conditioner includes a heating function which is not always the case up north Queensland.

The motel and rooms were fine. Had a comfortable stay for about a week. Probably what you would expect from a new motel. Would appreciate and better rating if they supplied cutlery and at least a microwave in the rooms as they seem to be set up for it. The restaurant seemed good for the most of it. Twice ordering pizzas they were undercooked on the base and the seafood had some way undercooked fish on. If they sort that out would at least get 4 stars…

A great accommodation option if you are headed to the Tip - we were surprised by how new the place is and its great to have meals available on the premises.The reception staff were really friendly and helpful, including allowing us to refill the car's water tanks.
