Went to see Totem Arts & framing on Monday and the lady was so lovely and friendly even let me watch her measure up my frame for a piece of cardboard for a border and cheap.

I have had many items framed here but they really outdid themselves when I took in a genuine papyrus of the cat goddess Bast I bought in Egypt. Kathleen talked to me about it, we discussed various options and she said it would take a couple of weeks. When it was ready to be collected I was blown away by the end product. Her clever use of gold painted timber surrounds around the matting and aged timber frame enphasised the concept of age in the papyrus. It was new, but looked old, I was very very happy.
