Jones Street Take Away
Always a wonderful experience at Jones Street Takeaway. Warmly greeted, clean and bright with a place to sit down while you wait for your order and happy to have a friendly chat. The team take so much pride in the food they serve, always clean tasting batter, delicious battered flake, crispy chips, yummy potato cakes and fried dim sims in well priced packs. Enjoyed a delicious chicken schnitzel burger today! Generous selection of cold drinks also available. It's our favourite fish and chips in Albury! Thank you to everyone at Jones Street Takeaway and keep up the great work. We highly recommend this local business in a quiet street where there is always close parking nearby. Five stars and we'll be back again very soon. :)

100% recommended!! Friendly service, very fresh food, old style hamburgers and crispy chips. They were busy tonight (Sunday) but explained delays and still made great food. Clean shop with a few extra supplies if needed. Go for it, if you’re hungry, this is the place!

There's something good happening here, Jones Street Take Away have the secret to crispy chips. The fish batter is pretty good too. The thing that surprises me most is that both chips and fish aren't oil soaked despite being deep fried. And no old oil taste.Other positives I reckon are a really easy to read wall menu, exceptionally clean everything in the store. Polite and easy to talk to staff. Clean tables and chairs for eating at or waiting for your order. Take away brown paper bags are taped closed to retain heat.I parked right in the front but there's other parking on Jones Street and a side lane.Jones street is also beautiful, might be good to walk there to pick-up, whatever your ride try the food at Jones Street Take Away.

Bought 2 fish and chip packs, 2 potato cakes and gravy. Best I have had in a long time. Ratio of batter to fish is perfect, same on potato cakes. Thin batter, there is more fish than batter and I loved the crunchiness of it. Chips were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Good sized portion so I was happy to pay $15 per meal. My only issue was how long it took to arrive, but that has nothing to do with Jones Street Takeaway. Definitely will go back and try other menu items

Since these new owners have taken over the fish is amazing like it's fresh fish you get when u visit coastal towns they even have cheap family packs and big potato cakes and the owners are so helpful and happy with awesome customer service I say it's now the best fish and chip shop in albury wodonga keep up the good work guys

We have been trying for some time to get some fish and chips in Albury. Called into Jones street tonight and could not believe how nice the food was. From the gentleman who took our order to receiving our order the whole experience was a pleasure. So glad we have found our new place to go well done to you and your staff
