Carmichaels Cattery

We have been taking our cats to Carmichaels for years and are extremely happy with the care given by Sonia and Shane to our moggies and the cleanliness and set up of this cattery. We love the emails and piccies of our cat which Sonia and Shane send while we are on holidays. Our latest cat is prone to anxiety issues but he always comes home happy and well. We cannot recommend Carmichaels enough.

After using several catteries and cutting short our annual camping trip as I wasn't 100% comfortable leaving our Boy there, I found Carmichaels Cattery and the owners Sonia and Shane - I not only stay camping longer, I can comfortably go on other holidays as well - thank you so very much for caring about our feline buddies as much as you do.I must admit that when I tell Ollie that he is going to KittyKat Camp I get a lovely leg rub to let me know that he is okay with this as well.If you are looking for the ultimate time away for your family then look no further for feline accommodations whilst you're away, I recommend Carmichaels to everyone I meet :-)

Carmichael’s Cattery is simply outstanding. The care shown to my two cats was exceptional. They are both rescue cats and one has behavioural issues which Sonia and Shane, through their patience and wonderful love for cats, have actually helped! This Cattery is worlds apart from previous ones I’ve used. It is super clean and the Cat Cottage is actually nicer than many hotels I’ve stayed in! I can’t recommend this Cattery highly enough. My cats not wanting to leave said it all.

We went overseas for 25 days and were so stressed about leaving our two cats alone for the entire time. We had recently moved to a new area so didn't know a pet sitter we would trust for such a long time.As the time to travel drew nearer we eventually decided to go have a look at Carmichaels Cattery that I found via searching all surrounding areas and reading reviews of all catteries I found in the search.We met with Shane to have a look around the cattery and we could just see how much he and Sonia loved and cared for cats. The suites all have decent amount of space and even access to an enclosed veranda!We were very impressed with the love they showed the cats and decided to book our kitties in for the 25 days. It was a very sad goodbye that first day but at least we knew they were safe.Over the course of the 25 days, Sonia and Shane sent us a few photos and update on how they were doing every few days which was great and made our day every time we opened the emails! We were able to relax and enjoy our holiday because even though we missed them, we knew they were safe and sound.Once they were back home with us, it only took a few hours of careful sniffing around the house for them to be back to their normal selves, which was amazing to see.All up, we are so so happy with this experience. Shout out to Sonia and Shane, thank you for caring for our kitties! We will definitely rebook for any future travelling we might do.10/10 recommend!

Second to none! Sonia & Shane have been proving holiday care for our cat for many years now & we wouldn't take her anywhere else. Carmichaels is the best cattery that we've seen.

Fantastic place for your fur family... they kept us updated throughout our trip and sent photos. Would highly recommend.
