I had the displeasure of talking to Ray the owner Manger of Rye Glass, I called requesting quotes to totally replace the glass through out my 5 bedroom 3 bathroom 2 Storey house in Dromana, when I mentioned that I’d had a quote from another company Ray asked how many quotes i’d had, I was a bit shocked by this question as I didn’t feel it was any of his business, I asked him if it was an issue that I’d had a quote and he went on to tell me that he didn’t want to waste 3 hours of his time giving me a quote if someone else already had, I pointed that the quote took the other company less than 15mins and the point of a quote was to get competitive prices and to get a feel for the company and choose according to who the client felt more comfortable with. I later phoned back to speak about this upsetting conversation to be met with an even more obnoxious unpleasant conversation with Ray. Needless to say I cancelled the quote. A very very disappointing and uncomfortable client experience. The service was the worst I’ve ever received and that’s a big statement.
