Dongara Fish & Chips

Value for money, really nice seafood platter. Little bit over cooked but still delicious. Thicken up the curry sauce a bit, too runny.

Fish was tasty, a bit deer, but I guess that's country WA. Will eat there again. Good serving size, assuming that large is good.

Ducked in here while passing through town for a quick lunch on the run. Service wasn’t amazing but the lady was nice enough hence the second star.The main reason why I dropped three stars was because of the food. I know that it’s a small country town and at times it can be difficult to get consistent fresh deliveries etc so I don’t know if i was just the exception but my fish was... VERY disappointing. My burger was a little better but wasn’t something I will pay for again.

The shop owner was very friendly, shared our jokes and above all they were the best fish & ships we have tasted . Don't miss this place.

I've been there 3 or 4 times, I had shark and emperor which were perfect. Generous portion size with a pile of chips. They were my best fish and chips so far. I definitely recommend it.By the way the place is open til 8pm.

The food was terrible. The service was very bad and the staff lady was not friendly at all. We were paying money for better service and food, but we did not get all these. My best advice to all of you, don’t even entry this restaurant ever.

1 day ago we had fish and chips for dinner...services was very poor, very unfriendly and meal was very average. For a fishing town they import their fish from New Zealand. Never Again. The price was exorbitant shop wasn't clean. She needs to learn a few manners.

Fairly blunt service but the food far exceeded our expectations. The seafood basket is delicious, great value and definitely worth stopping in for. Will definitely be returning.

Wow - I really don't understand some of the negative reviews (I do believe one review has incorrectly entered the wrong business as they named a shop at the port) especially in regard to the comments about the lady who runs the place - shes great! Was friendly, welcoming and we had a great chat about the local area and that was just her customer service.I always wanted to try this place everytime we were in the area but always ended up missing opening hours - that will not happen again as I personally will make a point of getting there well before close - had the best feed from there and what made it even better was less than 20 bucks to feed 2 of us.Well worth the visit. Don't listen to the BS in some of the prior reviews.. and hey if you go there and your customer service experience isnt like what i got? Remember what its like to have to be at work during peak fishing time. Enough said lol.
