Hoppy's Self Serve Carwash Manly

I've only ever used the self-serve car wash faculties and my overall experiences with the Manly West location has been generally good.Reasonably priced for what it can offer. The self-serve car wash bays appear to be 24hr access.Last time I went, 11.30pm at night, the car wash bays presented in a neat and clean fashion. Lighting isplentiful and gives you enough exposure to see all the good & bad things Water pressure from the car wash bays was pretty effective & got the job done. Payment to use the different wash options can be paid by gold coins or more conveniently, EFTPOS card.

did not receive what I thought I was paying for, Paid $22 for the lot, was finished in 4 mins, and had to wash it myself when I got home.no one there to speak with - very disappointed

Tom my car through the automatic car wash. Came out and my car was still dirty. When I emailed to complain I was faced with aggression and they said my car didn't even go through the car wash. When I responded with my receipt they said that they declined a refund because the 1 photo I sent that area needs agitation to get clean. I disputed again staying that was the worst of my dirty car that should have been cleaned they said well you don't have any evidence. They were rude and aggressive. Wouldn't touch this place again.

Hi, I am not normally a complainer but after the wash just had today , I feel the need to seek some improvement. We just took our car to the Manly Hoppy's as we have done a few times. Something has certainly gone wrong since our last wash here. Firstly, we noticed the car beforehand had the Ultimate Wash and a broken hose spray continued to spray water on the car even after it was dried. We mentioned to the on-site staff who acted as if it was not known even through he had walked through it to put shine on the tyres. Seemed odd to wash and dry a car to have it sprayed before you left. 2nd - we got home to our address 2 kms away and the sides of the car had a black grime all over it. My wife wiped it with a clean car polishing rag (photo attached). Rag was very dirty with a black soot like material but did wipe off easily. 3rd - we also drove out to water being sprayed over our supposed clean and dry car. Just a thought but the cleaning bay had plenty of dirt, leaves and rubbish inside either side of where the car is washed. Maybe some of the dirt and rubbish is blown up onto the car by the blowers. 4th - just a small thing but the staff member watched us pay to vacuum our car and then move forward to have it washed, and still did not mention that vacuuming is supposedly free for wash customers. Another customer mentioned to us after we left. 5th - as per the photo attached, the tyre shine had no effect at all leaving the tyres dull looking. 6th - minor but both sides of the front car doors had polish (?) like streaks running down starting from the windscreen. It seemed that the blowers had dried the polish in streaks.I have now rewashed the car, 2 hours after your wash.Please consider some rectification action. I am requesting a refund as we have no confidence that we would get a better result on a return service.Well 5 months has passed since my review and not even an acknowledgement. Say no more. Cheers

Probably the worst car wash service I’ve been through. Car came out looking worse then when it went in and for the top service it’s pretty poor quality.

Car wasn't noticably cleaner after paying $18 for a wash in the automated bay. When I contacted the business about the outcome, the company sent me a screenshot of an article about the case against" automated car washes

Been to this car wash many times with no incident and it seemed just fine.Attended last sunday night washed carand had to extend time another 3 minutes which is no problem.extended another 3 mins and justneeded to rinse car off to finishwhen equipment malfunctioned andthe rinse was spraying detergentsimultaneously. couldnt rinse and then had to spend another $5.20 rinseing the car in a adjacent bay.Notified management about this and expected them to refund my $5.20 or give me a complimentary car wash.They plain refused to any reimbursement whatsoever even after submitting a video to them.Not good business people.Wont be returning and i was a regular

I have never been spoken to so rudely - I went and got my car cleaned and there was damage left on the car I questioned it with the employee from head office Brian who informed me I caused the damage . Then told me to go show my boss how I clean my car . No wonder they have such low google reviews I will never be using this company again and I recommend nobody else does . Customer service is everything and they lack it .

Have been to this car wash on 3 different occasions to use vacuums but to find my self leaving and completing the job els where. The vacuums need to be checked on a more regular bass as the suction is very poor. I have now given up on hoppys car wash as it’s only became a waste of money and time.
