To the kitchen staff. TERRIBLE WORK. Your cheese was overcooked, rock hard and looked bubbly on the plate. This happens when the cheese is overcooked or microwaved. There was no stretch to the cheese, it was just all solid. Also, the enchilada grande was SLOP. mushy beef mixed with way too much cheese and no flavour, not to mention EVERY SINGLE SIDE costs extra. Guacamole? Extra, beans? Extra. Even sour cream was extra. These things used to be included on the plate. So disappointed. Also to the male waiter - SPEAK UP. You seemed uneasy and nervous and you were struggling to understand our orders. What happened to this place? Birthday dinner ruined. Go elsewhere.

Taco out of a box from Woolworths is a much better option!Ordered Taco’s - no salsa, no guacamole, no sour cream, you’re paying just for lettuce & meat in a shell. You need to pay for everything else separate.Meat options are dry chicken, stringy chicken or stringy chewy beef. No mince. When tacos originated by being made with mince?Salsa - watery, no salt, full of onions & coriander. Tastes like Indian pickled curry then Mexican salsa. The Doritos salsa at Woolworths tastes 50 times better.Nachos! By far the worst! 5 nacho chips, lathered in meat juice, cheese & salsa & looked old & was barely edible.Everything here had 0 flavour, no salt, meat juice lathering everything, soggy & watery. Disgusting & would never eat here again.Woolworths taco kits are by far 100 times better!

We wanted to order a family dinner for next weekend, and we wanted to try Mexican. Unsure if we wanted to spend over a hundred dollars, over a meal we may not enjoy, we decided to try la combinacion. A lot was riding on this meal, and I had almost signed up to the Club Taco promising birthday rewards among other things. For starters, at the point of this review, the price is still incorrect on the website $24, instead of what the restaurant told me $26While the Mexican rice and frijoles were decent, the rest the meal was bland and really disappointing. My children said they have had frozen mexican meals that have tasted better. The taquito tasted like a soggy supermarket nacho chip, and you could barely discern any filling. The taco was crisp shell, but the filling was bland and watery. The enchilada was the better of the three, and unfortunately tasted like what would happen at home if you slapped beef and cheese together, not something you would eat at a restaurantFor what we got for $26, I find this overpriced for the quality we got. In comparision for example we bought a 5kg box of cherries for $20 which we found was value for money

This is a great, modern and well staffed resturant. This isn't the usual dark or dated Mexican, it was lively and loud with many enjoying the great food and big drinks.

Nice family restaurant, affordable, nice staff. But half our food came out cold which is the reason for the lower review. Our son loved it.

We first tried this restaurant after being disappointed several times at our nearby Taco Bill in Pakenham and were very impressed with service, food quality and overall experience until the Con-vid restrictions came into play and having chosen not to subject ourselves to getting jabbed with an experimental drug/poison we found ourselves being discriminated against by this venue due to our choice. Fast forward to the recent now moments in time we chose to forgive and give them another chance and have been fortunate to have experienced the same wonderful service and consistently great food we had come to enjoy prior to being declined service for not complying with unlawful and coercive ‘mandates’.

Sadly they purchased La Cantina, where I used to purchase regularly. We got one spoon of rice!!! We used to get a cup.The service is appalling and the person on Saturday would not even listen. He knew we were buying for two.I do not recommend taking away at all.

Typical mexican fare. Food was decent and portion sizes are pretty generous so make sure you don't overorder. Don't forget to ask for the hot sauce because as they are the dishes are not at all spicy.
