Just adore the atmosphere, its relaxed, friendly, calm and feels like visiting friends.And my haircut.... went for a change, and Isabella knew how to take my web browsing ideas and make them work for my hair. I have been going there for many years now. The ladies are beautiful and kind and very professional.In the past I had bad experiences elsewhere dyeing my hair. They never get the right colour.Finally I found Celina and Isabella which save me from hair salon’s troubles. I have highlighted my hair and the colour look so pretty and I got 100’s compliments. Also, hair cut is perfect as well. They always cut what you asked for. I’m very pleased with them.

Amazing! Was recommended a toner instead of colour & my hair looks absolutely fantastic! So happy with it. Thanks for fitting me in at short notice. Lovely Isabella did a wonderful colour & new style :)

Isabella is so knowledgeable and honest when it comes to my hair. I get a keratin treatment twice a year and have my hair coloured every 5 weeks. In all my life my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been.

Isabela is a magician when it comes to hair! She takes immense care and effort to understand different hair textures to attain best results. I’ve been going to Luminous Hair Salon in Belconnen for 3 years but Isabela has been doing my hair for 6 years in total and I can’t vouch for her highly enough. She’s a beautiful person both inside and out and when coupled with her amazing skill, I’m never disappointed. Isabela is not afraid to tell you that your grand hair ideas won’t suit your hair type and that honest approach is much appreciated. Her mum, Celina is also a whizz in the salon and both mum and daughter have a wonderful establishment. They are in high demand, so don’t expect to just walk in, always make an appointment.

The most beautiful gentle ladies who saved us from my daughters terrible first ever hair dressing experience where the other hairdresser ruined her hair by leaving the bleach in for 2 hrs resulting in her hair turning grey. Not an appropriate look on a 14 yr old girl.With a late night panic we tried to fix it with a colour that turned into a disaster.Tears flowed.These beautiful ladies accepted us next morning with my daughter and I in tears over the experience. They welcomed us in so warmly, offered us a tea and hot chocolate and began their magic on my daughters hair. Isabella was so sweet and gentle. It turned out to be the most positive experience for my daughter, ending with tears of joy and a massive amount of appreciation. My daughters hair looked incredible and natural again.A miracle happened because it was questionable if her hair could be fixed.My daughter left feeling warm, happy and confident again.Thank you Isabella and Celina, you are true diamonds and I look forward seeing you both for my appointment soon. X

Wonderful experience. The attention to detail is second to none and they really listen to the client’s needs. Isabela is an amazing stylist who is up to date with all the latest trends and techniques. I have very thick hair and have had many different styles and have been happy with every single one. I’ve never had ‘the next day regret’ - you know, the one you get after you wash your hair and suddenly hate the cut, - that NEVER happens at Luminous.

I have been coming here for years! All the staff are so beautiful & very friendly. I had a Pixie when I first met Isabella my hairdresser & she always styled it so beautiful & I would get 100s of compliments. Then Isabella helped me grow my hair it’s now only 3 years later & down past my bra line! I still get 100s of compliments about how beautiful & long it is! Isabella made every step of the way easy as we changed my style for all the different stages. Before I met Isabelle I had been going to so many different hairdressers trying to find someone who could understand my extremely thick hair that looks as if it was Fine! I will never go somewhere else as I feel 100 safe knowing Isabella will take good care of my hair & keeping it stay healthy!
