For years I struggled with my frizzy hair when the weather was humid. Leonie and Brooke made me try the Behave keratin treatment and it absolutely changed my life! The team is always welcoming, friendly, reliable and professional but moreover, contrary to many hairdressers, they listen! I recommend this salon if you are looking for the above mentioned qualities.

I have been a customer at The Maxx Hair for a couple of years. I came in to the salon with a challenge for them after attempting to colour my hair at home. They were accommodating and professional dealing with the results. I didn't feel criticism but understanding and helpfulness. During Covid they helped me keep my colour fresh with home packs and even my favourite Kerastase treatment. Highly recommended!

I discovered this salon last year by chance and haven't looked back since. I travel a long way to come here because I think the service is always fantastic. I have had my hair cut and coloured in various styles by Leonie who is absolutely lovely in every way. It's always a real treat getting my hair done at The Maxx and I always love the results and get lots of compliments about my hair. I would highly reccomend this hair salon!

I have seen Sophie for the last 18 months she is one of the best hair dressers for blonde hair. Sophie always does a thorough review of my hair and addresses all of my concerns. I always leave feeling amazing and she gives the best scalp massages! 10/10 recommend asking for Sophie if you're after an experienced blonde stylist!

Leonie has cut and styled my hair for almost 20 years and I couldn’t imagine going anywhere else. Carl and Brooke and all the team are fabulous and ensure a professional, caring and inspirational environment. I love the experience of visiting The Maxx and Leonie every time.

If I could give a zero star rating I would. The colourist Carile is unprofessional and achieves terrible results. Rude service, extremely over priced and not worth it. I would add photos to this review but there's nothing to show for the $350 balayage treatment I asked for.

I have been a loyal client for over 25 years. The staff are professional and provide an excellent service. My hairdresser, Leonie is the owner and I trust her implicitly with my hair. She provides great advice with regards to styling and colour and listens to me with regards to how I would like to look when I leave the salon. The Maxx has been so helpful during lockdown, offering a click and collect service for client's to purchase their colour in a very safe and efficient way. I can highly recommend this wonderful, friendly salon

The lovely hairdressers at The Max Hair Studio answered my SOS today and managed to squeeze my 11 year old in (despite being fully booked a few days before Xmas!) to help with a HUGE dreadlock in her hair. I thought it would have to be cut out, but 45 minutes later - a shampoo, condition and treatment plus 3 people working on it at different times she walked out with her hair in tact! What a wonderful team of people! We will definitely be returning. I had never been to the salon before and am in awe of how welcoming and helpful they were. Thank you so much!

Booked in for my first haircut since COVID, Carlie was very professional and didn’t complaint at all with my poor-maintained tangled hairs. This is the only time I went to a hair salon without a photo to show how I like my hair cut but Carlie cut and styled it exactly the way I wanted it to be. A thoughtful, efficient and a very comfortable visit by far. Will be back for my perm! Thank you Carlie - Tracey
