Firebox Bakery Eldorado

Pies worth travelling for :) bakery is in a lovely garden, pie are awesome, has pork and fennel roll as well, very good, great Turkish bread, very good coffee, good service, loved it, thank you :)

This quaint little bakery literally just off the main street of Eldorado serves some great pies and bakes some delicious bread. Additionally, they have some shady tables out the front which are always a welcome addition.Furthermore, despite the fact that orange juice is my least favourite juice (and by a long way), they did not fail to impress with the taste and quality of it in the absence of the other juices which they claim to usually have!Would have been perfect had they have had juices other than orange juice, and maybe a slightly better breakfast selection, seeing as this is what we came for.

Great tasting coeliac friendly bakery.Vegan pastry is better than some full flour & dairy ones in the area.Nicely balanced fillings, deserts are just right too.Plus a great vibe in the garden with families coming and going.Highly recommended.

The pies were served in a cardboard box,no cutlery. Tasted like sour cream in plain pie.sausage roll seemed like minced meat (Not sausage meat) nice pastry.One knife on premises to cut everything sweet and savoury

A little hard to spot but well worth finding.Big breaky was a hit, as was the lamb and veg pie and gluten free sausage roll. Sticky chai was available along with great coffee!

Terrible dough. bread is like a rock and tastes like Shrek's crusty toes. the doughnuts have a texture like they don't wanna be on the planet anymore. jam doughnuts taste like stale old man underarms .

I ordered a beef steak pie that looked nice but the filling was aweful and the pastry base was doughy, tasting like it was uncooked. Followed by coffee in a paper cup that was hardly more than warm milk. $13.50 NEVER AGAIN !

We visited the Firebox Bakery in Eldorado today after going to the Off The Grid Living Festival. There was a foul stench just outside the entry to the Bakery which would have put me off my lunch had I not been so hungry. On entering the shop it was obvious that had had a very busy day as there was not a lot of bread on display but I did notice a fly sitting on some iced fruit buns which were displayed on-top of the counter. I ordered two sweet chilli cheese sausage rolls and four cheese and bacon rolls. Luckily the cheese and bacon rolls were delicious, because unfortunately the sausage rolls were inedible. They tasted way too salty, the texture was mushy and there was no escaping the copious amounts of oil seeping out of them, to the point that the paper bags became transparent. I doubt we will shop here again.

What a quaint little bakery at Eldorado. Wood fire oven. The sour dough gluten and normal is fantastic, gluten free pasties, pies and a sensational array off beautiful gluten free cakes. There are tables with umbrellas and a lush grass area. The coffee and chia is amazing so if you’re up this way go for a drive out to Eldorado Tuesday to Sunday won’t be disappointed
