St. Falls Resort

This hotel has been recently taken over, and having myself owned a venue during Covid-19 I was generally willing to give them the benefit of the doubt, as Kate (A very hard working manager) tries to get the team up to speed. You have to consider that this Hotel cost us $540 per night. I've stayed in some pretty fancy hotels around the world for less than that, so I have some small expectations of a hotel in this price bracket. However my patience ran out quickly. In what should have been our last evening of sitting on our balcony enjoying the view. We could NOT sit outside as several members of STAFF were below our balcony SMOKING (for 3 hours) in a hotel? Worst Restaurant on the Mountain. Should be the last place you would want to visit to eat.If you want to experience the worst customer service and a group of really rude staff then this is your place.

So disappointing.The place is rundown. I understand that management has recently changed but it is unfair to charge 5 star prices for a 2 star establishment. Checkin was delayed by over an hour beyond the already very late checkin time of 4pm because the couch was broken. No chance of getting into the room for a quick afternoon ski. Two days later on a rainy day while watching a movie we were all displaced by the delivery guys literally tearing the broken couch apart to get it out of the room and bringing a new one in. The room is tired. Paint peeling. Cheap furniture. No complete sets of any glassware or crockery. For $1800 a night our spa looked over the public car park so no view and no privacy but a great deal of noise despite a view being advertised. The location of the hotel is so convenient, but think twice before booking if you are accustomed to high quality accommodation.

Best location to the main area and lift up the mountain, good amenities (heated pool and steam room) ski hire etc, food and beverage, parking etc. wouldn’t stay elsewhere

This place is amazing. Michelle and her team on the front desk are so friendly and helpful! This is what we love about Falls Creek and we will definitely keep coming back. Highly recommend!

I'd like to start by saying we booked pretty late, and as a result paid probably a lot more than your average room. It was definitely on the expensive side, and for that price you would expect top quality in most if not all respects.The apartment itself was fairly small. We had a 2 bedroom spa apartment, and it was just big enough for 4 people.The room itself was wildly under equipped with basic cooking essentials. We mentioned this to the staff, and they did everything they could to find what we needed, big props. It turns out the rooms are privately owned, and so if the owners haven't equipped the rooms properly for cooking and cleaning, it's St Falls who end up looking bad. We really appreciate their assistance with everything trying to help out where possible.Location, bang on. Literally doesn't get better.Bedrooms and bathrooms were functional but not efficient. The exhaust fans in the bathrooms didn't do a whole lot, so foggy mirrors was a regular occurrence.The sofa bed was also a bit rough to sleep on. We found that in order for it to be comfortable enough, using the doona under and over the top like a burrito worked the best for extra padding.Heated floors throughout the apartment were fantastic. No issues at all.A few things to note is that St Falls has only taken over from QT, so the resort is still needing a fair bit of work to get to what they are charging. Additionally the pool is not what we were expecting for a 5 star resort, more like a large kids pool.All in all, we enjoyed our stay, and think that even with everything, the location made it worthwhile to stay here.

Location was a 10/10 directly behind the main chairlift up to Cloud 9. Super easy to hire your gear from Base Camp in the same complex as well as super convenient drive in location.Staff were all VERY friendly (Michelle) and everyone really helpful.Restaurant 1550 simple but really delicious food we ate there twice and great coffee, again friendly staff (Amber)Perhaps the only drawback given the price of what you are paying is the quality of the rooms. Slightly run down in need of some new blinds and furnishings and no cleaning service.Management is new and they are doing their very best first season in.Have booked for two trips next season already.

Lovely accommodation. clean, neat and comfortable.Restaurant has great food too.

Gym and pool included. Quite a lot of local restaurants and 30 second walk to the nearest chairlift. Rooms were lovely and spacious and service is great! Local supermarket right underneath the hotel, so super convenient!

My family and I decided to stay at Falls Creek during the Queens Birthday long weekend. I was really impressed by all the staff given their politness and willing to assist us on all our concerns. The rooms were small but modern and kept warm all day round. Thank you to the team.
