Thanks to Wilson and Settle inn I got accommodation, transport and work in Mildura so I could complete my 88 days.In the beginning it was okay with work and the team. But after Christmas and New Years there were many weeks with just three to four days but I was promised six days per week. I understand farm life is very unpredictable because the weather and fruit conditions so it’s unfair to promise people something you can’t control.Although in the end when more people arrived, the whole team got canceled as some people were too slow, and the organisation itself wasn’t the best in how it operate and communicate, I felt it was time to move on. Which is something I wasn’t happy about as I was motivated to complete my 88 days.

I came in contact with Wilson and Settle inn when I was looking for farm work and to complete my 88 days. I was promised work in the vines and when the picking season started I was suppose to work 6 days a week. It was all good for a while but things started to go bad when the picking season started. I only worked 3-4 days a week, sometimes only 2, because the fruit needed to grow more. The organization became worse since more people arrived and the communication in where, how and when has not been good since day one.In the end I had to leave because the atmosphere at work was bad, I didn’t save any money, the group did not feel like a team anymore and I didn’t complete my 88 days even though I spent four months in Mildura.
