Insurance claim repair - Shannon’s Insurance preferred provider. Parts for my car were on back order. I’m given an estimate of 6-8 weeks. 3 months later I call and I’m told ‘My parts arrived this morning.’ This is my only vehicle. I have 4 kids. When I initially made the claim it clearly states most repairs are completed within 5 business days. When booking my vehicle in for repairs I was told telephonically 5-10 business days but that they would do their best to get it back to me sooner as it’s our only mode of transport. I call the repairer yesterday late afternoon (business day 5) to get an update. I’m told my vehicle is ‘on track’ for completion next Wednesday. So 10 business days. No attempt to speed up the process as communicated. It’s a bonnet and bumper replacement. That’s it!! Our insurance provider made it sound very difficult to go with another repairer upon claim submission and said if I didn’t stick with SMART, I would be left waiting for an extended period. Yet, look at where that’s left me! This has been a timely repair to say the least. And a very inconvenient experience waiting 3 months for repairs and then 2 weeks without my car.

Jimmy and Charne who will greet you and take care of your car are absolutely delightful to deal with. The customer service they provide is fantastic! Nothing is ever too much trouble. They keep you informed, the quality of the repairs is great. Jimmy really knows his stuff and is always willing to help with advice. Highly recommend for ease and exceptional customer service, quality of repairs, effective communication and updates.

Friendly people, high quality work

They are not professional at all, they kept my car for 6 days to replace the tail light and few other issues. Without fixing the indicator lights they called me and said all done, everything fixed! They also didn't touch the boot that had problem too. I found them careless and wanted to get rid of the job asap and jump into the payment. Don't recommend at all.
