Woodlawn Wind Farm
Awesome place! Its really nice to see how sustainable this place is. They are filling a used mine with landfill, extracting the methane from the landfill to produce electricity. The heat generated in this process was used to regulate water temperature for Barramundi whose excrement was used as fertiliser for plants. Now I'm not sure if regular people can go there. I went there sponsored by the EU's diplomatic mission during the EU climate diplomacy week.

Absolutely beautiful driving past to Canberra, provided some great scenery to look at, especially over the horizon of Lake George.

The ACT and NSW govts sponsored a great visit to the Woodlawn bioreactor and windfarm. Highly recommend a visit if you get a chance - presenters were informative and very friendly.
