Since formal season is coming up, i want to warn people of colour that want to get their makeup done there. Please, do not get your makeup done there, I had asked them prior if they had experience in doing makeup on brown skin but they literally botched my makeup and I had to pay for the service. Foundation was clumpy and separating and way too light and the eyeshadow was patchy. So please be warned and do not go here if you are a person of colour!!

Was served by a lovely young girl who I sadly didn’t catch the name of, she has short almost buzzed blonde hair with an eyebrow slit. She was super kind with helping me find my correct foundation shade, finding the right bronzer for my skin tone and showed me some collections I was interested in. Her service was absolutely fantastic and I want to commend her for being so kind and helpful. I’m hoping this finds its way back to her as I’m beyond happy with the customer service she provided.

I came in late Sunday afternoon and was taken care by Rowan. They were the most loveliest person I had ever come past. They helped me with all the products I needed and went above and beyond. Rowan honestly made my experience in Sephora so welcoming! I’ve been to the Sephora in Sydney and it gives me anxiety because of how bad the service there is (I’m not really a makeup person so I need help all the time). I really hope this store knows how much of a keeper Rowan is! Thank you so much for your help!!

They keep overcharging me or giving me the wrong sum back and hen i return some items. I went in yesterday and returned $500+ items and was supposed to receive a store credit. Upon checking and calculating they ‘forgot’ to give me $300+ for the credit note. This is the second time this has happened. I’m really disappointed as i have to constantly take trips to sort this out. And i live quite far!!

Staffs are friendly and caring, great customer service! BIG thank you to Devina N who was gentle, very kind and was able to recommend great products!!

Came in today with my mum, and we had Chelsea helping us with our inquiries. She was really knowledgeable with all of the makeup products we asked about, and even suggested valuable alternatives for products we weren’t too happy with. Chelsea was also able to find the correct shade of foundation for my mum, and made a good choice for a new facial cleanser for myself. Was a great experience today, rather than the other times I’ve had at Sephora.

I went in with my friend today just to have a look around. I found a product that I wanted to see but the tester wasn’t around so I thought I’d have a quick look and open it. A staff came and told me that there were testers across the store that I didn’t see so I apologised and went there. I saw another product that was on a testers rack but it was in the box and the original tester was gross and had grease/food on the spray and I was NOT trying that on my face. I opened the box of the product below it like every other person would and the same staff member came up to me, snatched the product out of my hands and then said to me and my friend “girls you can’t be opening these.” So I explained to her that the tester was gross and not usable (I wasn’t going to use the packaged one obviously). She than said to me “yeah well people actually buy these.” And then gave us a dirty look. I’m very disappointed. Mecca’s staff are much nicer.

every time i have come to this store has been pretty okay. the staff are always very helpful, especially when dealing with someone who is not very experienced with makeup (me lol) but PLEASE, PLEASE turn the lights down in there. im autistic and it is sensory hell to have to enter a shop where the lights make me feel like i'm ascending to heaven. ive talked to non autistic people about this and they have the same issues. please strive to be more inclusive and turn the lights down or at least instill a quiet hour!!

On repeated occasions, I have been to the store to purchase cosmetics or skin care products and get ignored by the staff. Last Saturday I waited 20 minutes before I put the products I had picked up back on the shelf and walked out.I went to Mecca and the service was poles apart. Friendly, patient and helpful staff, I bought the product I was after and I was out in less than 10 minutes. Sadly (for them), Sephora lost a customer.
