Good pies but customer service has gone down hill. I was double charged and when I enquired to get it fixed up they treated me like I was a hindrance and didn't even say sorry

Busy bakery selling cheap and tasty eats. The pepper pie was actually phenomenal, it really packed a full flavoured punch and ranks highly as one of the best pepper pies I've had. The sausage roll was fresh and the pastry was light and flaky. The coffee was mediocre. Overall, I definitely recommend stopping here for some tasty treats next time you're in Halls Gap.

A pretty good bakery with various meat pie options. We ordered for quite a large group, almost everything was correct in our order except for one of the pies. As I believe the staff member confused the plain meat pies with the mushroom meat pies. Apart from this, the staff were patient and friendly, and the food was quite nice.

Every town needs a good bakery and Halls Gap certainly is up there with having an excellent one. Over the Easter period, this place was hopping with people coming for their daily bread, that lunchtime pie or a sweet treat. The staff worked tirelessly to serve everyone and always managed to keep smiling. The bakery is in the middle of Halls Gap within the Stony Creek Stores shop area. You can choose from hot food or cold. Bread, cakes, slices, croissants, premade sandwiches, rolls and focaccias as well as cold drinks. Something for everyone here.Prices are reasonable. Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible. Good parking across the road.

As a tourist destination you would expect the customer service to be a little more welcoming however i was completely ignored by who appeared to be the manager perhaps who continued to serve everyone in the store until it was my turn I went to say my order and she blatantly looked at me and just turned her back and started working on in house chores and I had to stand there waiting for a young girl to finish serving so she could take my order. As I ordered finally, others had entered the bakery and the First Lady dropped what she was doing and continued to serve others who appeared to be locals. I left the store feeling uncomfortable and couldn’t help but think it was a race matter.Cannot rate the pies as I am from the city, it would be unfair to compare the quality for a small town. But weren’t exactly the best either.

Absolute rubbish bakery! I can't believe reviews are that high. We had sausages roll and steak and bacon pie. Sausage roll had 0% meat and very tasteless. Pie had mince meat 10%, bacon 10% and rest gravy. Salty but no flavours. Pastry rubbish. If you like a good pie this is not the place for you.

Don’t display prices for anything, meat pie was okay. We also got a ham and cheese croissant that only had one small slice of cheap looking ham and a piece of cheese

We had a group booking at the bakery (14 people for lunch after visiting the Zoo) and there was not one negative comment. We all had coffee, slices, pies, pasties, sausage rolls and ham and chicken salad rolls. It was all very fresh, tasty and really first class. Prices very reasonable for good solid tucker. Thoroughly recommend and have been before and we will go back. Just want to also be really critical of some of these sharp reviews. Every time I have been there these guys have been flat out because it's top quality food at great prices. You people sayi g the staff were rude have no concept of working under such pressure. Nobody has ever been rude to me. They are just flat out and they dont have a lot of time for a lot of pleasantries. You people making these comments are the rude ones....
