Sanctuary Bruny Island

Enjoyed our time here. The rooms are well decorated and have a cozy feel- the electric blanket on the bed was very much appreciated on the cold winter night we visited! A great location, central to the main activities we completed while on the island. Breakfast in the morning was lovely. As mentioned by another reviewer, we were a little confused about where the apartments were until the details were sent to us, but we also appreciated the lock box for the key.

Mixed feelings about the place.The apartments were actually located at two different addresses. Both Google Maps and the booking confirmation directed us to Waterfront Two Bedroom Self Contained Apartments at the southern end of Adventure Bay. What we booked was called Beachside Studio Spa Unit and only in the morning of the check-in day we were informed by SMS that it was in a different location. Luckily, at that time we were in a place civilised enough to have Vodafone mobile coverage, namely Hobart, and were able to receive the message, or we would be trying to evict some innocent tourists from their two bedrooms. On arrival we realised that the difference in the number of rooms was not the only one: while the Waterfront qualification delivered the view of Adventure Bay, vistas seen from Beachside Apartments were inexplicably limited to Adventure Bay Road. Possibly, my interpretation of the name was too literal as I expected to see a beach from that place.On the positive side, Apartments" also appeared to be a misnomer

Amazing Bruny Island experience. The sunset view from the luxury apartment bespoke wooden furniture was just awesome. Well kitted out with everything you could want in a getaway cabin. Cool design for both the architect or connoisseur of eco tourism.

We had an amazing stay, really big place, the tub and the barbecue were a major plus. 5 Stars!

Didn't actually stay here, but while I was driving back from the Bruny Island Hotel recently, I noticed a car in front of me with the number plates 43Degs or 43Degrees. I assumed they owned this accommodation. I was driving about 20 seconds behind their car. What I saw next was disturbing. I came across a wallaby that had just been hit, only moments before I got to it. It was still writhing around in pain on the road. I can't say for sure that this car hit it, but I can be sure that they didn't even slow down to help the poor animal. Pretty pathetic stuff.

Beautiful apartments. Comfortable, inviting and great hospitality

Amazing location, room decor was gorgeous! Breakfast was very nice too!

A great little cabin right by the water, everything in the cabin is what you would need, nice big stone bath was a highlight!

My wife and I stayed in the smaller self contained eco apartments. We called up last minute during winter and got a slightly cheaper rate. We heard about 43 degrees from trip advisor and its great reviews. We arrived at the very clean and modern apartments ready to relax. We got that from the spa bath and the very comfy bed. We woke the next morning to breakfast at our door just after 8am. Very had a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend 43 degrees.I also recommend a drive down to Cape Bruny and the light house. Fantastic view!

Peter and Ericka were amazing.We just had the best time.It’s a MUST go.
