Lovely experience. Definitely will be returning. Group of four, shared 2 platters brought our own salads and bread. The days catch was awesome, I would say best bugs and prawns I have had between Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. Will have to try the lobster next time. The wife rated the oysters and salmon highly as well.Price is very reasonable for the quality and portion. Service was great, no awkward interruptions in the middle of eating and enjoying ourselves. Came and tidied the table when we brought out the cake.I would like to give a shout out to the young NZ chap working there who was looking after our table. Very polite. Surprised us when we ordered drinks as one of our group didn’t order yet, we mentioned what she will probably have and had it ready when delivering the round. Also knows how to take a good group photo.

By far the biggest and best value seafood platter I've had anywhere. So many prawns, oysters, sashimi and a huge 800g lobster. This place is extremely casual, so there is no need to dress up. Made up of a central pontoon and 2x boats either side, you can find this place on the waterfront behind The Lawn Bar and Cafe. You can walk through the Dockside Apartments to get there.

First time, loved it.Fresh and nice seafood.My brother and I had the PRAWNSTER PLATTER ($100).We asked them to add some extra prawns but I think it's be good portion as is.It's pretty cool but to eat seafood on a pontoon and boats.Service is relaxed.Recommend this place..

The best and freshest seafood we've ever eaten. Such a great experience. The taste was incredible. The sauces they gave us were delicious and the wasabi/soy sauce for the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi was a thoughtful touch. We took a lovely salad and our picnic basket. We had the shared seafood platter, our own cutlery and plates and salad. It was perfect!

We are visiting from NZ and had heard about The Prawnster and made our first visit, what a great night, beautiful fresh bugs n prawns, unbeatable on the water location, well priced wine and fantastic music, Chris who looked after was a real star. Overall a magic night, we can’t wait to return.

Very causal dinning with simple food (just plain seafood) and not much service. Simple selection of drinks. Seafood definitely tasted fresh, especially the oysters. Although watch out the prawns - the portion size is huge!

Very fresh seafood, the price is not particularly expensive and the portion is sufficient, and there are alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks for sale, it is very interesting to dine on the pier and fishing boat, warm and friendly staff.Looking at the beautiful scenery and enjoying seafood, I feel very comfortable.Highly recommended for those who like seafood.

We had the prawn platter with a glass of Prosecco, beautiful and fresh, and we opted to bring bread rolls and salad. We sat on the pontoon, was nice but if you can book ahead to get one of the boats it would be better. Was a nice Brisbane experience.

If you love seafood then this is a must try experience in Brisbane. Super fresh fish served on a floating boat by friendly and attentive staff. Thanks Jack and staff for your hospitality.
