Mount Gravatt Lookout

Great place with plenty of parking and restroom facilities.The road to drive uphill and down is quite compact, but is sufficient in size or most vehicles. Make sure to drive with caution as some parts are concealed and/or are quite narrow.Can get quite windy up there.Spectacular vantage point for Brisbane city views.

I'm on a work trip. After frustrations with taxis, I decided to hire a car and ended up finding this absolute gem by sheer chance.Worth the drive either at night or during the day. Early morning, expect to get stuck behind a bike rider or ten.

Wonderful scenic spot with a fantastic view of Brisbane CBD on the horizon. Definitely worth a trip on a nice and sunny day. Lovely cafe also located up near the parking lot at the peak to have a break and a drink when you make it up. Great experience walking up the trail if that's your cup of tea!

I have been here a few times. The views are great. It is always busy no matter what time of the day you visit. I would recommend taking a packed lunch and walking to the Lookout, as seating and parking are hard to find.

One truly special place, wonderful staff and delicious food. Great coffee. And a nice range of giftware too. The view is perfect. Love Lovewell.

I love visiting this place when I want to watch the sunset and do self-reflection. I also enjoy watching the city and horizon to give myself perspective on life.It’s often busy during sunset, and I can’t fault that as it’s truly stunning from this lookout. Just bear in mind that you likely won’t find a park, and even if you do lots of people will be there also enjoying the view.The lookout is kept quite clean and people who visit are mostly respectful. Note that in the late hours of the evening (up till 11pm) sometimes car people will congregate here as a meet-up spot. Nothing inherently wrong with that, just something to note it you want to go for a late-night walk or drive here.If you haven’t been, you should visit at either sunrise or sunset and watch the sky.

Short drive to the top, with stunning views! Popular with people on bikes, so need to watch out for those when driving! Suitable for short trip

So, we walked the moderate track around the the mountain. It didn't feel moderate to me. The last 4-500 meters back to the top of the mountain were extremely tough, not well defined by any stretch of the imagination. Although most of the track is well laid out and maintained, the end is a dogs breakfast. It would have been a much more pleasant walk if the end trail was cleaned up and made a little easier to navigate. Steep and no stairs, apart from the roots sticking out of the ground, loose surface and plenty of large rocks to twist your ankle on, I would recommend that new walkers stay away from this trail. The views over the city and bay are breath taking, bring your camera and binoculars to get the best results. A cafe is at the top of the mountain, with weekends being extremely busy. Be prepared for a long wait, and parking fills quickly. Dogs are permitted, provided you keep them leashed and clean up after them.
