We had dinner last night at Sir Duncan. The food and service was amazing, Shaun was great at recommending which share plates went well together and matched our food with some delicious wines.Sitting outside for sunset was the perfect way to end the day.Cannot recommend enough. Excited to come back and try more things on the menu!

Delightful food and excellent but unobtrusive service. Highly recommend the 72 hour flame bread and a very generous cheese platter. Good selection of wines.

First time at Sir Duncan’s a few nights ago and will definitely not be the last! We went for a special occasion as it looked a little more upper class but without being too snooty…Menu is fairly small but varied enough to keep everyone happy and don’t even get me on the spectacular wine list, whoooo! Food was beautifully prepared, absolutely delicious, and the music, atmosphere and service were all great. Already looking at dates to go back!

The Duncan’s morning service is a very welcome addition to the Newport cafe roster. The well-chosen menu bursts with breakfast favourites and all in my experience are beautifully cooked. The chic wine bar ambience is a stylish respite from both worries and weather.The service is unfailingly friendly although on the young side, meaning that it can vary from the excellent (as my server was this morning) to the how-can-I-put-my-order-in-when-it-will-interrupt-their-conversation sort.

We enjoyed delicious margaritas alongside fresh bread, babaganoush and burrata. The staff were attentive and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others!

Delicious. Creative menu. Fine wine list. Fun. Relaxing. Stylish. Friendly staff. Refreshing to find a great dining place on the Northern Beaches that pulls out all the stops for a memorable night.

I had dinner with a few friends here and I can confidently say its one of the best meals I have had on the Northern Beaches. Highly recommend the pasta! The ambience is inviting, and the staff are well trained and attentive.

Disappointed. Read the great reviews and expected a lot more. Mediocre food, lackluster service and a very overpriced wine list. Sorry won't be back, but it's your own fault.

WOW!We just finished dinner. Amazing. If you haven’t been already, run. Everything was delicious. We had the bread, eggplant, tuna tartare, fritto misto. Lamb papardelle, bavette steak, fries. Couldn’t choose a favourite dish as they were all so delicious. And the cocktails! Perfection. Excellent service too. Easily one of the best restaurants on the Northern Beaches. Highly recommend.
