Wagga Beach
Wow❣️ There has been a massive amount of thought and money put into this area... 2 huge play structures, open grass, seating, clean toilets, a car park, walking trails, covered BBQ structures, life buoy stands. Nothing like my childhood dragging a truck tyre inner tube up the dirt track, & swim back to the beach in seconds. It was sad to see so little beach, just mud, & only a couple of metres visible from the recent floods, hopefully it improves with lower water levels

Beautiful area but can get very crowded very quickly. The water was a bit murky, but still okay for a swim. Lots of signs talking about Wagga Beach being a Top Australian Beach in 2020 (number 9), but we probably wouldn't have ranked it this high ourselves.A grass verge for the most part next to the river, with a toilet and shower block, picnic benches, children's playground and shade under the trees. Worth ticking off the list, but we wouldn't say a Top 10 beach in Australia.

With the river level lower the new playground is open and kids of all ages can enjoy the many facilities here. There are swings, climbing frames, water play areas, flying foxes, tables and free barbecues here. It is a great place to let the youngsters use up some of there energy. Well worth a visit when you have some time to relax.

Wait, a beach, in Wagga Wagga? Yep! Small yet so utterly remarkable for its existence. It has all the beachside accoutrements you need, bbqs toilets playground. If it's hot and you're in Wagga it's worth it for the unique experience.

Will be good once the flood water of Nov 2022 goes down and they fix the beach and new playground area back to normal.Update Jan 23, place is nearly back to it's normal. Great pack for recreation, swim or sit under shady tree, huge adventure playground for kids.

Wagga Beach
Great place for a swim and a slide. Super fam friendly. Beach is clean and so is the play area in the park. Very impressed considering Sydney standards. Council there is on it!! Will be back and will spend more time in the county that's for sure.

Enjoyed the morning at Wagga beach. Plenty of good cover around but we brought some to set up on the beach. You need to be careful in the water given the strong current but good for a wade!

Wagga Beach
Great spot to have a barbecue and relax with family and friends. Plenty of seating and tables plus free electric barbecues to use. The barbeques are covered by shelters to give shade. Lots of grass to lay down and relax. The beach is ample for the kids to play and the river is inviting. However, the river can run fast so caution is required when swimming. A kids playground is also available. Fabulous place to spend some time in a natural environment.
