Desert Awakenings
We joined the lovely Sarah for the Desert Awakenings Tour at Uluru.We just loved the morning of beauty in such a majestic setting.Our tour guide and driver Sarah was superb.Her hospitality, warmth and wonderful knowledge of the rock was perfect.Her passion for our first nation people and her desire to share their story was fabulous.Thankyou Sarah.

Desert Awakenings
Although it is an early start, it is definitely worth it! You start by heading to a special area just for the desert awakenings groups from your hotel where you have a nice breakfast. We had damper and bacon and egg rolls. There is also a good view of the sunrise.From there, there is a trip to Uluru. Our guide seemed very knowledgeable. There is quite a lot of things that you will stop at at Uluru including the Cultural Centre which is self guided.Afterwards, you are returned to your hotel.

Desert Awakenings
Early start, but saw a great sunrise. Slightly further from Uluru for the sunrise than I'd have ideally liked, but means you're on the lovely patio for breakfast. The tour guide was excellent and provided the aboriginal viewpoint in what felt like a very authentic manner. Tour could have spent longer in each spot, but then you'd have seen fewer spots - a tough balance to strike.
