I wouldn’t trust this place with any animal. Definitely can’t be trusted to look after a animal when You treat there owners who can talk and share there experience.I couldn’t Imagine how this business must treat the pets that they “look” after who can’t talk or share there experience. It wouldn’t be good as goodPeople aren’t running this business.very disgusted, upset and trip honestly wrecked.Rung up over two months ago to book our trip. Dog siting being the biggest thing we have to plan around so it was the first thing we planned.office lady called and the owner on her mobile CONFIRMING she will take myDog and booked me in. So we booked and payed for a place in ravenshoe just so we can drop the dog off before we continue to Undara. Planned it around this petSitting service.Called 2 weeks out to confirmI wanted to make sure everything was perfect and we aren’t stuck with the dog when we are staying at Undara because YOU CANT take them there.2 weeks out I tryed calling to confirm dog sitting. Not one answer. I called every second day for two weeks straight. Not one reply not one answer not one email not one communication attempt from their behalf.Finally got through today.. 3 DAYS! before our booked in pet sitting service that I booked in 7 weeks ago.just to confirm. The lady checked and confirmed.Finalised our $500 accommodation in ravenshoe that was booked fully around this sitter.40 mins later I receive a phone call from some woman guessing the owner.“It’s about your booking, I can’t do it we are going to cairns with my son. There’s nothing I can do, we don’t usually take dogs anyways so yeah ..”I told her I booked in two months ago, 2 people one including the OWNER personally rang me back and confirm they will take my dog, rung for two weeks straight to check that this did not happen as I had to confirm my accomodation of $500 which IS NONE REFUNDABLE. as I GOT TOLDHer sitting WAS CONFIRMED AND THEY WILL SEE ME AT 8am! Then you call me back and cancel 3 days before I drove 28 hours to get to our destination that was only selected and paid for around this silly run business.Her REPLY “I feel bad now”you should feel bad.you should feel very unprofessional.you should feel like you need to take full responsibility for this.It’s disgusting on your behalf to treat people like this and not even apologise.Not even a sorry. I’m stuck completely now. Having to drive a extra 40 mins in a different out of our trip pay for MORE FUEL AND WASTING MORE OF OUR SPECIAL TOME OFF. We are having a baby in 5 weeks and this was meant to be a gorgeous get away.Three days out and I had to ring to reconfirm a booking that got confirmed and then is actually canceled for her own holiday.I would’ve turned up Friday at the promised time to drop off my dog and then get told she’s gone to cairns there’s NOTHING WE CAN DO.$700 out of a very expensive special trip that we don’t get to loose because ofThis silly silly woman.We saved for Very long time for this.we booked around your cattery in ravenshoe for this.all for a disrespectful “I feel bad now” .no trying to help me find somewhere else.No offering to helpNothing but a careless reply.you should be embarrassed. Such a unprofessional rude thing to do.Thanks for completely putting us out and not giving a F, wasting our time and thanks for not updating us sooner so I could try to rearrange my planned holiday AROUND YOUR HOLIDAY!HAVE FUN IN CAIRNS.
