Ozi Dogs

Having recently moved to the coast, hubby and I discovered Ozi Dogs and it's owner Julie. We decided to book. We knew no-one in the area and had not seen much of the Hunter Region. Our little Leo joined us. I was worried about how he would cope with the other dogs and the journey itself. However, Julie carried out a 'meet and greet' prior to boarding which was great fun. Any little personality foibles (from the other dogs of course!), was quickly sorted out as it turns out Julie is also a dog trainer! Julie issued each dog with a fun boarding card, they were so cute and we easily jumped on board the 12 seater coach.Wow!! we were greeted with a seat for humans and next to us, a seat for each dog, along with a gorgeous specially made cushion and seatbelt. To help settle the dogs, she handed out a 'goodie bag' that contained her own home made dog biscuits. From looking at the ingredients, they were very heathy and going by the reaction, loved by all the dogs. Conversations flowed very easily between our new friends and Julie, she really was the perfect host, even whilst driving. If there was a lull in the conversation, she had a mindful of very interesting facts about the areas we drove through and of course on each breed of dog. Turns out she is also a First Aider for Dogs (who knew that even existed!).We stopped once on the way (it was 1.5hr drive from our house to the hunter), as she noticed a couple of the dogs were becoming restless. She knew the exact spot that would suit all four dogs (and 7 humans). Having enjoyed a good sniff around and watering the grass, dogs were ready to continue the journey.Each winery were so incredibly welcoming and they all allowed the dogs into the buildings. Julie was very well known to all the staff and regularly introduced the dogs to other guests who simply could not pass without a pat.Whilst we had lunch, Julie looked after the dogs but still stayed nearby. She was such good fun we pleaded her to join all of us. We were even allowed the dogs on our laps etc. If they got restless, Julie would take them off on a sniffing venture.I could write sooo much more, suffice to say, I honestly didn't expect this trip to be so good, so relaxed and so easy! We made firm friends with each party on the bus and we still keep in touch and have coffee etc. Julie, well we sometimes catch up and walk the dogs together. I love listening to her adventures with almost dogs as tall as she is and wonder how on earth she controls them. Yet she always does! Hubby and I are planning another trip in a couple of months as a treat for our daughter and partner, we can't wait!Thanks you so much Julie for helping us settle into the Coast. I highly recommend this adventure.

Amazing service. Julie was a pleasure to tour with and extremely knowledgeable. The bus was new and extremely comfortable and went above and beyond making us humans and our furry friends have the best possible experience. Highly recommend!!!!

Julie and Keith were amazing guides. Julie went well and beyond to ensure that our dog was taken care of - even making hand made treats for her! Overall the experience of having a private wine tour where we can bring our dog along is a unique offering. It allowed us to relax and enjoy a nice adventure.Julie worked with us to build the perfect day and we loved every minute of it!I HIGHLY recommend this for anyone looking for a dog friendly tour. I will definitely be coming back again next time we're in the Hunter Valley.

Julie is pretty professional and a lovely person. She made sure to make our trip comfortable and memorable. Our furry boys had a wonderful time. Julie went out of her way when she learned we don’t drink wine. She booked the non-alcoholic wineries for us on the spot. Also, she took care of our dogs when we went to the chocolate factory. This tour is highly recommended if you are a pet parent and want to enjoy the sceneries and tastings with your fluff buddies. Also, you get to take home the best-baked biscuits for your pooches by Julie.

Outstanding service from Julie. She went above and beyond to provide an excellent wine tour experience to our party of 9 and 1 dog, even making 3 dog treats herself the night before.

Julie and Carol-Anne were the best things to happen to our wedding. We desperately wanted our fur-babies involved in our special day; but we also knew we wouldn’t be able to coordinate and manage four Labradors on the day on top of all of our other commitments. Our wedding planner recommended Julie from OziDogs and from that point forward we had nothing to worry about. When Julie first came to meet our fur-babies, they loved her from the get-go. She offered us some training pointers to help with their excitement on the day, (which really came in handy)! She took the stress out of the logistics of getting the dogs to and from the wedding, and getting them ready for the wedding, (and then for bed)! The dogs were gorgeous in their finest wedding get-up and flowers, and Julie even staged some photos on the red carpet when they arrived at the ceremony. Unfortunately we got married during the torrential rain that engulfed NSW in February and dogs were not allowed in our wet weather venue…but Julie kept them dry and safe close by so that they were in the background of all of our ceremony photos. Straight after the ceremony Julie helped us get as many pictures of the dogs as we could without all of us getting too wet. Julie was so kind and gentle with our babies, which is all we were really after; but added bonus is that she is also highly organised, anticipates different scenarios for the wedding, and goes above and beyond to make your day and fur-babies look and feel special. We would have been devastated if our dogs couldn’t have been with us on the big day; and thanks to Julie, they weren’t just there, but they were actively involved and front and centre of all of the love. Thank you Julie and Carol-Anne for being so wonderful and making our day so much more special!

Had an absolutely unforgettable and amazing time on our Hunter Valley tour courtesy of Ozi Dogs! I cannot recommend Julie enough - she planned our trip from start to finish, and did all of the investigations and bookings to take us to the best dog-friendly wineries and locations the Hunter had to offer. All of her picks were top notch in both wines & customer service, and Banjo was well loved and spoiled (he slept like a log last night). I'll for sure be booking with her again, and buying some of her adorable dog wine because Banjo looooved it! Thanks again Julie xx now just have to figure out where to store all the wine....
