Direct Freight Express

My parcel has left the depot twice according to their website … the depot is Less than 10 kms from the destination it leaves the depot around 9am to 10 am … I’d expect delivery by oh let’s be extremely generous and say 11:am .. I’m sitting around all day waiting for my item .. it’s no 6:53 pm on the day it’s actually expected to de delivered … seriously I could have given the delivery to my long dead grand mother and actually got it delivered faster

I ordered an item of furniture which was quite heavy. Although my item was delivered within a few days of ordering I’ve had absolutely no communication from DF. The driver delivered the box and placed it in front of my security door, giving me approximately six inches to open the door. Pushing the box with the door wasn’t an option as there were glass doors in the box. Perhaps a word to the drivers to leave doorways clear would be good.I do have a doorbell… that wasn’t used either.

Did not collect twice and lied about it (was home waiting for them but they never showed but said they did).Lacks basic courtesy and manners - leaves the gates wide open after collecting.

don’t order or work here. i’ve worked for direct freight and the companies do not pay for shifts and ignore the emails ⚠️.anyone who orders should expect their stuff broken as the other workers here THROW everything onto the conveyer most times from far away despite crashing and breaking noises.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!The driver marked down parcel as delivered and just drove off with it in the truck.!!! Absolutely horrified.!!Call it what you want, but i call it theft.!! (and just to add insult, this parcel contained parts for my business and still have to pay for them on account - Because it says 'IT'S BEEN DELIVERED.!!'

Our Ring camera system picked up the driver approaching the door and knocking. Never dropped off item and claimed that drive way was inaccessible. Called the 1300 number and was told that driver was by himself and needed help to get the 48kg item off the truck and up the driveway. Was told by management that it would be redelivered same day. Nope, checked the tracking and it was re-scanned back at depot

Extremely disappointing ... was notified on the morning of my delivery that is was planned to be delivered by 1:30pm, only for this time to pass by with no notification. Checked the track / trace, only to find that the driver claimed a delivery attempt and left a card. Only issue? No card left, no delivery attempt made, and given that my entire family was home (and with the front door open, expecting the delivery driver to knock - which the dog would have barked, alerting all in the home that someone was at the front door).I rang the head office, only to find them very unhelpful ... refusing to re-direct the driver back to deliver my consignment, and that somehow I must be wrong because the driver said they had left a card. I had to go to the depot myself to collect my delivery.Would not recommend.

I made sure that I was at home all day to receive the package as I really needed it for the weekend, I also left a notice for it to be left at the door if no one was home. I was at home when it moved from being 'on board' to 'not delivered' - the driver didn't knock on the door or even leave it by the front door as was instructed. I immediately tried calling Direct Freight, hoping to catch the driver but very frustratingly and am still waiting for them to answer the phone after 1 hour of waiting. Very disappointed in this service - one that I will not use again!

Just had my package dropped off by Neil. What a great fella who introduced himself with a small chat.Friendly, happy and full of shine. Made our morning!
