Just gonna sound like half the other reviews but the hours are terrible. I work 10+ hours a day Mon-Fri. Can’t really just say “Sorry boss, I know we’re really busy but I’ve got a cheeky package to pick up”. Just a half day on Saturday would be a god send.

Only issue is they don’t answer their phone when I’m trying to get a hold of them. Have to physically go in to speak to someone. Why bother having a phone number connected if they don’t answer.

8:45am until 5pm? And closed on Saturday? Why bother? May as well close that shop and direct our packages to New Farm which is open on Saturdays, and where the service meets a hard working community’s expectation.

Horrible customer service and very poor verbal communication from the Asian male who works in this Morningside Post office. Next time please check your systems before instantly dismissing a customer who has been waiting in line for 15 minutes. I literally drove 5 minutes down the road to Cannon Hill post office who advised the passport systems had been back online for a couple of hours. Passport processed in 2 mins and awesome customer service by a pleasant lady there.

Ensure you bring proof of address if picking up a parcel from this branch! It is not stated on the card they leave which is very annoying if you have taken time off to go pick up a parcel because their opening hours are so limited! Never had this issue at any other post office. Luckily the lady who served me was very friendly and very understanding. Other staff seemed very unfriendly which made a very uncomfortable atmosphere.

The local mail man can’t tell the difference between 64 and 66 . And when I went to advise the post office of this they couldn’t understand basic English/ Australian colloquial language like even what a “postie” means . They then had difficulty in wanting to speak to the postie about the issue even though they said he does go there to pick up the mail every day .

I live in Morningside, work 9-5 Monday to Friday, and had two deliveries expected today. One has gone to Morningside, and one has gone to Norman Park. I now have to leave work early to collect two deliveries from two different post offices. Neither of which are open outside of standard hours. If you can't do a late night, or stay open on weekends - at least organise your post so people with the same address get their items dropped off to just the one post office.

Would rate zero. Won't let you fill out a post satchell without buying it, then apparently they just lose my parcell instead of scanning it in when I handed it over the counter. Worst post office exp, go to cannon hill or camp hill instead

How am I supposed to collect my parcel if I , like most of the general population, work from 8:30-5,Monday-Friday? Am I supposed to leave work midway to collect my parcel when it should have been delivered to my door?I cant understand how this business model works when most customers must be like me.

Australia Post - Morningside LPO
The petite lady and Asian guy are always helpful and friendly. I always collect and send parcels without any issues. This post office is only walking distance from my apartment so the location is very convenient. The only issue is the trading hours, wish they had better trading hours :(
