Bob Jane T-Marts Mt Barker

Travelling to Adelaide 3 weeks ago we had to urgently stop in Mount Barker as two of our tyres were in trouble. After going to another tyre place first who refused to help because it was nearly closing time, Bob Jane’s could not have been better with their customer service. First class operation.

I always call them last minute for tyres, and they always fit me in the same day without issue. Can't ask for more.

Asked for wheel alignment, evidently not done. Asked for two tyres and they did 3. Made the mistake of telling them I was travelling interstate so I suppose they knew I wouldn't be coming back anyway.

I've been using Bob Jane Mt Barker for years, always been quite happy with the service. However, today I was disappointed.Recently bought new wheels and tyres and took car in to get balance/alignment/etc.Visual inspection of the wheels after the service revealed small grooves and gouges around where the nuts are threaded, probably from a rattle gun.Asked Nathan, he inspected and apologised but said there's not much they can do, which is fair enough. I understand inevitably the wheels will get scratched, but this was really just being careless.EDIT: Was contacted by Adam this morning, discussed the issue, and they've sent my pics to the repairer they use. Adam is a great example of great customer service, props to them for getting back to me, hopefully can get the wheels touched up soon.

I've bought many sets of tyres from Bob Janes, but this year I bought some tyres and the drivers side front tyre blistered on the side wall after only 3 months!! I took it back under warranty and they said that it was an IMPACT issue. It WASN'T an impact issue as I had not hit any pot holes or anything. Their warranty is a joke. I have numerous cars and will not be taking my cars back there for tyres. AVOID Bob Janes - Their warranty is useless!!!! DISHONEST BUSINESS !!!!

Had a puncture today, not good in heat and traffic. Dropped into Bon Jane Tyre Mart, the guys fixed the puncture with out any delay. They did a good repair and chatted away while the job was being completed. Excellent service.

Good value for money but attention to detail is a bit lacking. Bought 4 new tyres and alignment. All went well but the rims came back filthy. I know a lot of it was from brake dust but surely spending 5 minutes making them look presentable would make for a better customer experience with the final product.

Terrible experience! I came to this store with a flat tyre and had told them I was over an hour from home due to work, I told them I had to drive through the hills to get home and didn’t want to drive all that way with my spare tyre as it was small and couldn’t go over 80kms. My car is only 3 weeks old with brand new tyres, they told me my tyre couldn’t be repaired and that I had to replace it with 2 front ones as they didn’t have my size in stock this would have cost me $500+ I told them I would just drive home safely and try get the tyre I needed. I got home and my dad could clearly see it was a nail puncture that was easily repairable, he took it for me to a tyre place near home and they stated it was a simple repair which only cost me $30 to fix. It’s appalling that they knew I had a fair distance to travel, they obviously saw a girl and thought they could get away with ripping me off to get 2x new tyres when my car is only 3 weeks old. I will never go to a bob jane again. They can’t rip women off thinking they will get away with it, if I were a man coming into the store it would have been a different story.

On my way back to Sydney and yay, flat tyre on the trailer and the spare is stuffed too. Odd sized wheels and I’m thinking I’m not going to be leaving today-not a problem at Bob Jane My Barker! They fixed my leaking bead seal and fitted a new tyre on the spare and I’m off on my way, a very happy customer! The boys at Bob Jane know their stuff and know it well. Thank you!

The boys hooked me up with with some mint rims and tyres for a good price. Very professional staff got me sorted very quickly
