Lake Magic Swimming Pond
This place is amazing, you just float and relax. Set in beautiful bush land. The downside the showers need a door or curtain so you can strip off after swim to rinse salt off completely. Highly recommend it

This swimming place is so unique! 4 hours from Perth, and apparently much, much saltier than the dead sea.20 metres wide and up to 6 metres deep with a little island in the middle you can try to scamper up on. It's very slippery as it's clay based, with rocks as well. Tread gingerly! The water was a comfortable, luke warm temp..refreshing on a 40 degree day. It's near impossible to breast-stroke in this water as your legs won't stay underwater. A very unusual experience. Extremely salty- do the open your eyes underwater. In fact wear goggles.Kids had fun throwing clay balls at each other, while many others gave themselves clay exfoliation!Around the pool are intervalled basic, outdoor amenities. An open air toilet and shower. Strongly recommend you shower straight after swimming here as you'll end up white and crustified. So will your bathers, towel and anything else that gets wet.Thoroughly enjoyed this unique swim.

Odd little swimming spot. Had to laugh at the insta photos vs reality! When we turned up, we were the only ones, we really weren't sure if this was the right place. It looked like a building site with muddy car park, half finished wall and piles of building materials!Water was indeed salty and it was fun to float in, however the bottom was clay with building rubble mixed in. Some very sharp rocks under foot making for very painful scrapes!Glad our entry was included with the nearby campsite. Would have felt ripped off otherwise.

Our experience wasn't as good as some previous reviewers. It costs now... $10 for adults and $5 for kids unless you are staying at the resort. There has clearly been no work on the site for a year based on looking at photosfrom previousreviewers. Only 2 of the 6 cabanas are open and the hot water doesn't work in the showers. That might be fine in summer but in October when the pool water is quite cool it isn't great. Some of surrounds had mud over the concrete. The water quality isn't great at the moment too. And lots of rain has raised the water level and diluted the water so it isn't as salty as it would normally be.All that being said we were still glad we did it but it really needs more work.

Such a popular swimming pool. The salt/ gypsum content of the water is so high that its impossible to submerge yourself and afterwards there are convieniant showers to wash off the salt.

$10 per person to get in. Bit steep, but so glad we did it. The whole thing of floating brings a new dimension or understanding to the word float.

We were looking forward to swimming in the beautiful pool unfortunately after paying $10 each found out that no hot showers and the 1 toilet that was available to use was absolutely disgusting. Two years ago when I was here it was like a construction site it hasn't changed but now you have to pay $10 for entry. Save your money.

Salt Pool in the Wheat Belt!Unique experience and I was happy to pay $10 per person considering it's location.Lovely place to cool off after doing the short circuit walk at Wave Rock. There are showers to rinse off. It was a hot day and I didn't try the hot water tap as other reviews mentioned. The cold tap wasn't exactly freezing cold and nice and refreshing to rinse off the salt water.

What an awesome thing to be able to access for free! The water is a nice temperature and floating around in this high salt content pool is really fun. We had a great time and it made for a relaxing stop on our way to Esperance.Newly installed showers and toilets make this complete! No doors on these yet so bring a friend with a towel to cover the doorway for you. I'm sure they'll finish it off soon.
