Terrible customer service. Called through to enquire on a boat and asked if I could get pricing, employee on the phone didn't want to help me out because I was from Sydney.I've worked in sales and used to get shopped from our own store that we also had up in Newcastle .Business is business he obviously didn't want a shot at getting the sale and gave the business a bad look from my perspective and possibly others reading this.

BEST BOAT SERVICING AROUND NEWCASTLE!Since I've been having the boys at Newcastle Yamaha Marine servicing my gear, I have never had an issue!Basically a drive in and out service. They service my boat trailer, engines, everything down to water pump replacments.Great customer service, high attention to detail, and always lots of great tips!I highly recommend using the team at Newcastle Yamaha Marine to keep you safe on the water!!!Thanks for your help guys!

I recently purchased a 5 HP four stroke outboard from Newcastle Yamaha Marine.I found the staff members very professional and friendly.The mechanic who tested our new outboard asked if I'd like to watch him set it up and do the initial run, he explained to me how everything works and also told me to never lift the propeller above the power head as water can run into the engine.It's something that never dawned on me.Thanks again for all your help :-)

I recently bought a 5hp Yamaha privately & after one use it would not start so had it serviced at Newcastle Yamaha. When I picked it up the young man who did the service kindly took the time to explain why it would not start & described what he did to get it going. Very professional approach. Very happy customer. First time I went there no-one bothered to come out of the office. None of the boats have details or prices on them. Drove away.The second time I went in I was met by an arrogant, obnoxious and sexist salesman who was more concerned with patting himself on the the back than helping out newcomers. Every question about a boat was met with sarcasm and it seemed to be more about him than the boat or the sale. Probably better off going elsewhere, this place is stuck back in time.
