Brookvale Hotel
I Brought my albino son here and he got very sunburnt. We asked for the retractable roof to be closed ever so slightly and the manager was very firm in saying no. The bar girls were lovely and even they were dumbfounded at his power tripping decision. Thanks to him I will be moisturising my sons 2nd degree burns for the next month.

Staff good. Food good. Schooner glasses constantly filthy. Complained about the filthy glasses about a month ago. Came back today. Nothing has changed.

Went for lunch on Friday and returned for dinner on Sunday. That’s how good the food is. Will definitely be back again and again. Highly recommended. Ambience and decor clean and relaxed, service prompt and friendly, food delicious.

As locals we have been visiting Brookvale Hotel for 24 years but sadly last night was probably the last time we will be eating here! Firstly our order was incorrect but we chose to take the food as is as our party of 5 wished to eat all at once. But the food was just warm as one dish took longer than the rest and we watched the food sit in the service area for quiet awhile. The steak in the steak sandwich was too tough to eat and the pasta laid sadly in a bath of oil. The chicken was dry and overcooked. We were excited to introduce our friends to this much loved local but left embarrassed and disappointed. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the staff were very nice! Improve the food and this place could once again be a real winner!

Great Atmospheres. Really professional staff and prompt service. Food is acceptable and reasonably priced. Beers are ice cold. Good weekday specials.
