Broadwater National Park
This was taken at Airforce beach at Evans Head. Your dogs can run off their leash while you swim or do some fishing. Or if you like you can keep walking all the way to Ballina..

Nice village but nothing much to see.the sugar mill use to have tourers going a long tine ago why nor do it again get some tourists there they can eat at the pub or church that is a cafe now. and its not fat from evens head or Ballina for tourists

Great fun four-wheel driving. Levels for everyone . Suggest if entering from boundary creek road get on the uhf and lower tyre pressure. Go slowly and watch for oncoming traffic. The beach has plenty of pippis for fishing but don't take them from the beach or go over the limit there is someone on patrol most times.

Awesome beach to play around on.. Even got the misses to take her Hyundai i35 down and it didn't fault! Just make sure you have a buddy who can tow you in case as the sand is pretty soft at times..

Nice and quiet park. It’s possible to walk on the beach at low tide. Saw several wallabies in late afternoon. Mostly flat terrain, easy hikes.

Great picnic area, has picnic tables and BBQ. Two minute walk to beach, where you can fish for your lunch. Plenty of 4wd tracks, and can drive on the beach. Surrounded by nature and wildlife. Worth a look!

Waste of time and fuel. Closed gates on every 4wd track, no camping, no nothing.

Great 4wd beach with plenty of spots to fish and setup for the day. Dog friendly in certain sections.

Fun little place. There are often friendly chickens there at the entrance, a scenic path along the ocean, and there are plenty of sand dunes to climb on the beach end.
