I joined Kempsey library late in Jan 2015, new to the area I felt it was a way of connecting with the community and enjoying the local resources. It is many years since I have been associated with a library and I was pleasantly surprised with the services available and the lovely array of books on loan, it has re-ignited my passion for reading and resource books have re-connected me with some interests that I have forgotten. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I look forward to a long association.

Beautiful library. Just had a makeover and it really is a pleasant place to be. Welcoming and helpful staff greet you with a smile when you arrive. Lots of places to simply chill out, and of course, read. But also has meeting rooms you can book and some pods with PC access. Great if you need to study or do some online research. Most important it has a kids area, so the next generation can grow up enjoying the local library too.
