My partner and I just spent 7 nights at Elysia and I couldn't recommend it enough. We are feeling refreshed and rejuvenated and armed with so much knowledge to incorporate into our daily lives now that we are back home. The facilities are great and the staff are friendly and very accommodating - the photos online don't do it justice. Do yourself a favour and book a deep tissue massage with Scott and an acupuncture appointment with Dean :)

I have just returned from five days at Elysia Wellness Retreat and it was a life changing experience for me. The staff were very friendly and approachable, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The meals were so delicious and healthy and we were introduced to a wide variety of foods. The activities on offer varied and you could do as little or as much as you like. I believe everyone should go to Elysia Wellness Retreat at least once in their life! Thank you. :)

My wife and I spent 2 nights to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. Staff are excellent- friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The food was sensational and the room lovely. The whole resort is well maintained and as it is situated on a hill, the views of the Hunter are beautiful. There are lots of facilities and activities. I did find the classes (yoga, core, Pilates, Shibashi) were at the beginner level but I accept this was where most guests were at. The instructors were top notch. I treated myself to my first facial. The therapist (Amanda) was outstanding and now I’m wondering why I’ve waited so long to have one! My wife had a massage which was equally wonderful. It did take me some endurance not to have a coffee for 3 days but both of us left Elysia feeling recharged and discussing when we will return.

If I could give a zero rating I would.I made 4 spa bookings here 6 months ago and the week of, we called to confirm and magically all of our bookings didn't exist in their system due to a major system crash". We had email proof of our bookings and they wouldn't honour it. They said they couldn't move the people who they booked over our bookings

Myself and a friend booked in for a facial at the day spa. The facilities were lovely but the facial was the worst I have ever had. I left red, raw, stressed and never wanting to return.I did reach out to management to voice my concerns with no follow up. I’d highly suggest doing your research on other day spas in the hunter as the quality of training is not there.

Absolutely loved my 7 days here, from the moment I arrived I instantly felt at ease and was comfortable I made the right decision! The staff are excellent and accommodating, plus know their stuff in their respective fields!The food was amazing, so fresh and tasty and extremely satisfying. I felt like I was in a serene oasis, and truely was grateful to be able to experience my stay here. It was a great place to spend time with like minded people, I can really appreciate the serenity there after arriving back to the hustle and bustle. Thank you to all the staff there that do an excellent job!
