Havilah Hostel

The activities co ordinator went all out and dressed the lunch table very attractively. The lunch meal was enjoyable for my elderly mother's relatives, the chef came to see if we happy, the kitchen staff brought our meal for eight guests, then came packed up all our dinner dishes. The activites co ordinator came back to chat to mum's relatives. We then took mum's family for a tour of Havilah. Another day we were having afternoon tea with mum's friends and had brought our own food to share. When i went up to the kitchen to get some milk for our cup of tea, the kitchen staff gave us some scones, jam and cream. We hadn't booked in for food.

Nothing bad about this place.food well presented.good care is given to the residents church service is also given to the residents that want to attend.

Fantastic place. Looked after mum so well she wants to go back. Staff are fantastic, plenty to do,food is fantastic.

The staff are kind, attentive and compassionate. They work with both the residents and their family to meet the needs of the residents. The food is good. The facility is clean. There are lots of activities both in and out of the facility. Thoughtful, well run community based facility.

Residents are well protected from Covid virus with the rigid check in procedure.Andrew was very helpful along with the nurse who did the covid test and the other staff who brought lunch and afternoon tea
