I came across Direct Art and realised that they could get one of their artists to paint a canvas from a photograph. Ken Liang was the artist assigned to me. The job that he did was second to none. I am beyond amazed and thoroughly impressed with his attention to detail and may I say that the oil painted canvas looks far better than the photograph. Zarah was incredibly helpful and I am grateful to her for going above and beyond to make my photograph a painted reality. The pricing is spot on and the delivery process was seamless.

I highly recommend Direct Art. The overall experience is great providing regular updates and support throughout the journey from ordering all the way to delivery. Direct Art also do the framing which is great that it is all in one stop. The paintings in particular were brilliant- the quality was outstanding and I love every one of them. Some of the nuances of the painting (Heat of the Sun) were missing in the name of “20% variation” (How does one quantify % variation in a painting - It's open to interpretation). I have attached some photos of what was advertised vs what was received and circled the differences to give an idea and make up your own mind. Google keeps on removing all photos except one. But compared to the original on the site, my eyes picked up different/darker shades, no shadow of the black house (replaced with a black blob), No shades of blue-grey in the cracking sky in the painting I received.

This is the first time I have made a purchase from Direct Art Australia. Their range to choose from is excellent. I ordered online and they got back to me immediately to advise that they have started our canvas and that it would take 21-28 days for it to be completed and shipped. I rang Zarah a few days later to ask if I could make a change to my order, to have our canvas framed. She was so helpful and happy to oblige. We were extremely impressed when our canvas arrived. Not only was it delivered on time, but the quality of the knife painting is excellent. What you see on the photo when you order a painting is exactly what you get but more vibrant. I will definitely order from them again.

I have just purchased my second piece of art from Direct Art Australia. On both occasions I have been impressed with the ease of communication and delivery of the art work. My first purchase was pre-COVID and was delivered well within the specified time frame. The 2nd piece came 1 week outside the time frame due to the impact of the pandemic.
