I have been a regular client at Alternative Glow for over a year now.Rene is a fabulous dermalogica therapist. My skin has always been troublesome but it is much improved with the help of Dermalogica products & Rene's in depth product knowledge & holistic skills.Rene is the sole owner & therapist at Alternative glow so you are guaranteed to have continuity & someone who genuinely understands your skin needs, who can best treat & advise you. The added bonus is that you also get the salon all too yourself! which means you can truly relax & can enjoy a nice peaceful facial which never feels rushed & suffers no interruptions.Not to mention Rene is friendly, professional & genuinely a good egg!

Had an excellent hair do and facial... Preeth was great! Really enjoyed her facial.Rosy was sweet too.. Made me feel really comfortable and ACTUALLY agreed to services which required her to stay back late.. Will definitely go back again. Such lovely ladies!

I have been getting my brows done by Rosy for about 5 months now, and they've never looked better. I love the results from threading, and Rosy offered me great advice on working on a good shape. Rosy has been very accomodating on fitting me in at a time suitable to me. Today I also had my legs waxed, and it was quick and relatively painless. A great little salon!

Rosy is truly fantastic at threading. For the first time in my life I really like my eyebrows and always leave the salon with more confidence. I have complete trust in Rosy to make my brows the best they can be. Definitely give this place a try, you won't regret it.

I discovered Eminence on Groupon, the lady who did the eyebrow tint and threading was very nice. However it wasn't a honestly run business, at Groupon it didn't say it doesn't accept Fri & Sat, but when I had treatment on Sat, the lady said her boss would not except it on a Sat, so I had to pay $37 for the service, plus now got a Groupon voucher that's expired.Would have easily go back and pay as a regular client, it's s shame when businesses don't run with integrity.

Asked for a simple ash toner and ended up with a warm orange ish coloured roots. When I went back a few days later to have it 'fixed' they started painting peroxide on my roots which turned very orange, the toner was very ash and so I had orange and purple toned hair. I then had to go elsewhere to have it fixed. another 4 hours and hundreds of dollars later I can now go out in public. No customer service and absolutely no idea about colouring hair. Needless to say I'm quite upset that my whole day was wasted and am now out of pocket more than $300... And all I wanted was a simple toner.

Rosy is an absolute miracle worker! After a chance meeting, I now visit Rosy every 3 weeks without fail - we're on our 4th treatment and my brows have never looked better. She is the first artist I've found since moving to Ausralia 2.5 years ago that really knows what she's doing when it comes to brow maintenance. HIGHLY highly recommended!!

I got a Groupon deal for eyebrow threading tint and eyelash tint. I Got Rosy to do it and she is absolutely amazing! had a great vibe. Definitely recommend going there to anyone!
