Kaplan Professional

Having studied at several Australian universities, I can say that my time with Kaplan was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a higher education provider. The tutors, academic advisers and staff were excellent, and the technical knowledge offered in the post graduate courses was extensive and well explained. Highly recommended!

I recently graduated from the Master of Financial Planning course at Kaplan Professional. Along the way I was helped and guided in making my subject choices. The pace of my studies was very flexible and the follow up from Kaplan and key point along the way kept me on track.The Masters course in itself was relevant to my practice and current. The sense of satisfaction and client credibility/respect were also great benefits of completing the course.

Outrageous: Only interested in the money, got no compassion or desire to work with students. Don't listen.Last week I enrolled into an educational program and paid directly by direct credit. It is now a week later, my bank has confirmed that they have sent the money and Kaplan have confirmed that the account I paid the money into is correct. But they haven't given me access to my study material.During discussions with Kaplan they hinted that had I gone into debt i.e. pay with credit card than it would have been easier than me paying directly into their account. Is this where the world is coming to, debt is better than money?There are many other educational institutions that provide the same programs and will look at getting my qualifications through them.

I recently studied Tier 1 generic knowledge and Tier 1 securities and managed investments general advice.My experience studying online was straightforward, easy and I could pick the days and time suitable for my to study around my work hours.I felt like a valued customer and supported every step of the way.I would recommend Kaplan Professional to anyone as their staff are fantastic and they made my experience very enjoyable and gave me peace of mind that I would be taken care of.

Ive been studying with Kaplan for under 2 years. I only have 3 months until I finish my studies with this organisation. I read the reviews and get confused with majority of comments that are negative. People need to remember that education is run by legislation and Kaplan as a educational organisation don't make the rules and have to follow the syllabus.Now I only gave them 3/5 due to customer service response, prices paid with lack of support and long turnaround times. I feel like Kaplan need to up their customer service and be more engaging to their students that fund their business. But overall I feel like Kaplan is the right place to start with your education for those who Can't or unable to attend University

Kaplan Professional provided me with the platform to complete my graduate diploma remotely which was a great help. The staff were extemely helpful and efficient and always there to answer any queries. I found the content and the way the course was designed to be very user friendly with plenty of resources and support to get you through. Thanks for great experience!

I have recently completed tier 1 compliance training in Generic knowledge and currently undertaking further study with Kaplan Professional. The student profile is user friendly, the material is presented in way that is clear and covers terminology that allows anyone from any industry background to easily grasp. Personally, I found this has opened up a whole area of study and industry knowledge that previously was a bit of an enigma to me. It has encouraged me to continue learning, not just for my professional development, but more importantly, in how I source financial advice and how to stay well informed when it comes to wealth management and future planning. As well as keeping well informed around government policies that directly effect how we are all able to navigate and understand the Australian economy.

My experience with Kaplan:They deliberately didn't give any students in 2010 the option to have either a soft copy or hard copy of the diploma transcript. There is no documentation of the offer of either. Why? So they could charge $50 each time a student requested a copy of their own transcript. Also, this would allow them to use the excuse if a student queried the fee that it would be unfair of me to not charge you the fee when others have been charged. A point to note on this topic I rang earlier today Pinnacle Financial Services the company whom I completed my diploma of financial services with to request a copy of my diploma transcript. The response was to immediately email me a soft-copy ( I now never have to contact them in future should I lose the hardcopy) for FREE! Why? Because I paid them $1,995 for the diploma course which includes my certificate/s. UNETHICAL FEE GOUGING OF STUDENTS HERE IS PRETTY EVIDENT! Like the unethical behaviour of banks I wonder if the education industry could do with a Royal Commission!? I have contacted the education minister today to investigate this on behalf of every student!UPDATE: Feb 22/19 My experience with Kaplan is that within a day of emailing the education ministers office and I CC'D Kaplan in on the email, (they all of a sudden) sent me both a soft/hard copy of my transcript. For free!? Everyone reading this you would be able to draw your own conclusions about Kaplan and how they operate. Money is everything it would appear.I would invite Kaplan to look at the fact that I have pointed out their policy is unethical in this instance and although the costs are clearly outlined on their website, that it does not mean that it is right-ethically.

Any questions you might have regarding subjects you study - don't get answered in a day or two - according to the policy" it can be 3-5 working days and most of the time - by emails ONLY.I had completed 3 courses with Kaplan by the time of writing this review: The Best - Online and @your own time. The Worst - some of exam (in any course) questions are written in the way to check anything YET NOT the subject you study. The Ugly - Kaplan does not offer "study experience" it only provides the platform to complete the materials and sit exams. Out of three courses completed one was "unforgettable" experience and it was the worst ever.Personally I think Kaplan has a lot to do to lift their "study game" yet I doubt the organisation will do anything. If you take into consideration the huge number of "unhappy students" and the fact that Kaplan still hasn't done anything - the only conclusion - it's deliberate.Staff & Tutors very helpful and friendly yet have their policies to follow."
