Made a booking for my Birthday lunch at the Mezza after choosing from local community reviews. What a disappointment.Firstly my friend went to the counter to order our food and was told by the first staff member, he couldn't take the order as he had to make drinks. So another staff member was called over to take our food order. Then my friend tried to order the drinks and was informed by the man who took our food order, he couldn't take that order so another staff member was called in to take our drinks order. What table number?" My friend answered to the man who took us to the table originally; " The table you took us to." He replied; "I need a table number. I'll get one of the girls to see which table you're seated at." My friend replied; "Don't worry

Enjoyed the Barramundi, scalopini and mushroom balls. Service was a bit slow, but friendly and pleasant. From the reviews we were lucky tonight but the reviews suggest we should quit while we are ahead. As a manager I know how hard it is to be consistently good but these reviews should be sounding alarms bells to management.

We decided we wanted to head out for a Seafood platter and chose Mezza based on online menu shopping. We went In with medium expectations - but the platter was amazing - so much food for 2 people. The only thing missing was scallops and hot salmon would have been preferred to smoked salmon. But everything was fresh and amazing. We also had the Italian Prosecco and it was really nice.We will definitely be back.The view is pretty amazing too.Happy hour 3-6pm too

My husband and I were staying at the hotel and thought the cafe looked great. However, the staff, whilst accomodating, were not friendly and seemed stressed even though the cafe did not seem busy. We were shown to a table by one person, who then went to get water and menus. We had only just got the menus and within less than a minute another waitress came and asked.. “ready to order?” Then as we hesitated only slightly, quickly scanning the menu, she seemed to become annoyed and impatient and promptly said “I’ll have to come back” and left before we could say anything. She then avoided coming back to take our order, avoided any eye contact and twice I asked if we could order as she walked past. Some 15 mins later she came to take our order and stated there would be a wait time for coffee because they were very busy. The cafe did not even look to be half full. The same waitress plonked two sets of cutlery down to the right of my husband as she walked to another table without speaking. So my husband set the table appropriately with the supplied cutlery. The coffee arrived sooner than the wait time suggested which we were very grateful and was smooth and well blended. The chef special which we both ordered for breakfast was not all that special, the bread burnt on one side and the presentation appeared rushed and without care or attention. Given the service we experienced I can not recommend the Mezza and we did not return for any other food service over the four days we stayed at the hotel despite the great location. The service and food was so much nicer at other places a few minutes walk down the road. The stay at the Ramada hotel was great with very efficient and friendly reception and housekeeping staff… shame the cafe was not the same.

$55 steak with salad. Very poor value for money. $6 for a post mix weak diet coke in small glass. Will not eat here again but rooms are ok

Some of The bar only staff are hopeless at best, one in particular can’t ad up.Women there know what to do, the rest seem in training? No uniform no standards to achieve ….Don’t understand why corporations like Ramada let the mess continue to affect their name.

Mezza at the point, where do I begin. My partner and I were treated to food and service that would rival anything that the Gold Coast has to offer. To exquisite food and staff that engage and genuinely wanting to know who you are as a person and not just a number. Without any doubt we will be returning and recommending this fine establishment to anyone who is a lover of fine food, tasteful liquor and a beautiful scenery. There wasn’t enough stars to give to be honest.

I ate at Mezza at Christmas time 2022 and the food and service was fantastic. Unfortunately tonight the service was below ordinary (and they were not busy). In addition the steaks were not cooked to the order (and cold). When we queried this, the attitude from the staff was dismissive and rude. I am very happy to pay for good food, but I am not prepared to pay $55 for a steak that is blue, when I’ve ordered medium rare and cold. Again, $55 for a steak is no issue for me, but I expect to get what I ordered for that price. I will never frequent the Mezza again. Clearly management do not care about the customer experience and are not interested in repeat business.
