Cut to the Chase Hair Studio

I have curly hair and went here for my hair to be cut with lots of layers and a little bit of face framing. the hairdresser did exactly what i asked for and i was very happy with the result. there was also a very cute dog there who kept me company while i got my hair cut (the dog is not there all the time).

Had a hair consultation with the owner she turn me down by wanting hair extensions. I felt like she didn’t listen to me. She just wanted to say that I am unable to have hair extensions. She wouldn’t even come to conclusion with the situation. I felt like I was attacked. As soon as I left I felt like I didn’t have normal hair (curly hair). My husband was waiting for me outside I burst into tears.

I attended your Salon first time only a few weeks ago, had my hair done by Tori.As a 30yr old with plenty of greys they are something I wish to hide, let alone a semi- permanent being put on my roots to only have 2 week old hair and greys back out on show. I have now had to book in with another salon to correct.I had an amazing pink added to the underneath of my hair, would of been nice to get some information or care guide, one wash and it blended through my blond that was on top. So now I have not only pink underneath but a umbre faded pink through out my blonde. I now understand after seeing another salon it wasnt wash out enough to prevent the colour bleedFound myself going to hair house warehouse to buy some pink shampoos to help keep colour longer and purple shampoo for my blonde hair, these could have been easy sales for your store but never even discussed?Before attending your salon my hair had already great ash colour, confirming with tori I like that, my blonde is more golden than I would have even liked or was previously.I'm sure your staff have off days sadly not what you want on a first visit or just to the conversation she thought was funny leaving her colleague with a concussion and continued to laugh about it, even after I mentioned to her I work at the 000 call center and this could have been serious or fatal. Surely not the no care factor the salon wants to promote.For an over price $270 visit I'm more than disappointedShame as you are just conveniently close

Love this place. Been getting my hair cut and coloured here for nearly 5 years and they always deliver excellent service, great cuts and fantastic colours

Love, love, love this place! Highly recommend coming here. Got a balayage full head ash blonde with low lights throughout, cut and style by the amazing guy who works there. He has saved my multi coloured banded mess and I can't be happier with the results. Very welcoming and the new renovations look amazing

I’ve been going to Cut to the Chase for around 3 years and always had positive experiences. Yesterday I had my hair done by Emma and found her to be very rude and unprofessional. She didn’t use any products when styling, washed my olaplex treatment out within 1 minute of it being put in and left dye marks all over my forehead. I told her I wanted the same colour as last time and she said she didn’t know what that was because she didn’t add it to my file. She then became frustrated while going through the colour chart with me because I told her she didn’t use ash last time and she told me she did so that’s the colour she chose. While the colour was processing last time it was a purple brown colour and this time it went dark blue so definitely not what I had my previous appointment. She did my hair last time and did a great job but was rude and moody yesterday. I would recommend asking for a different stylist.
