Duckhole Lake
We first walked the Adamsons Falls trail and drove to Duckhole Lake car park from the connecting dirt road close by to Adamsons Falls car park.This connecting road was 3km.The Duckhole Lake trail is short, easy, scenic and duckboarded. Most of the trail runs parallel to a creek. My friend spotted a platypus. I was happy to see the lush ferns. Duckhole Lake is quite pretty. I'd recommend this trail for families.

A most scenic easy walk alongside a creek.Keep a lookout you might see a lyrebird, we did.

Duckhole Lake
A fab little walk (approx 1-1.5hrs return) however when we went a tree had fallen across the path (very near the lake I reckon as we had walked for around an hour before we had to head back!) Gutting, but a beautiful walk all the same for us as a family. Our 3 year old covered most of it on his own little feet, only tiredness meant he had to be carried some of the way (and hence our rather long walk-time!)Hope we can revisit and reach the lake next time! The pictures of the lake itself look fab! Here are some of our walk at least!

Very beautiful rain forest walk into a picturesque Lake, ferns, myrtle, fungi, huge eucalypts and an easy walk for all the family.Even spotted a lyrebird!

The walk is fairly flat and does take the recommended 1.5 hours. Get there in the morning

Duckhole Lake
It is an easy trail, which is about 20 min drive from the main road through the forest. We saw lots of mushrooms, as it was autumn. The lake itself is very small, but the trail is full of surprises , mushrooms were very colorful. We also saw lyra bird, but it was so fast to hide, that I did not have time for a photo!
