Everglades House & Gardens
Not much to see really considering you pay $17 for an adult admission fee. The garden is quite small and offers very limited views of the Blue Mountain. There are other lookouts that are free with better breath taking views.

I am an avid gardener but this amazing place is definitely next level .Outstanding attention to detail throughout the gardens that have been meticulously curated for almost a century.Springtime is the best time to visit to see the new blooms although the Everglades is a beautiful place to visit all year round.The buildings on the grounds are very interesting and the gift store is very well stocked .Everyone must visit these gardens at least once to really appreciate the blend of native & exotic trees & shrubs .

I visited this garden during this year's Leura Spring Festival. It was looking very beautiful with glorious Tulips in full Blooms. Nested in the heart of Blue Mountains, Everglades House & Gardens is an enchanting Retreat, Particularly during Spring and Autumn Seasons. I had visited here in Autumn, I loved those Golden to Reddish foliage, as well as the wonderful Mountain Scenery from the Gardens. A few photos attached.

$17 entry fee to house and garden. street parking which is free. Honestly the gardens are beautiful. And the views of the mountains are stunning. The house itself was admittedly a let down. Not very furnished so it's rather boring and the house is just ugly. Retford Park is a million times better. The only saving grace are the cool retro bathrooms in the house that have been left untouched.

Beautiful grounds. The homestead was a little disappointing as it had minimal furniture. Too empty to really appreciate its potential.

If you're in the Katoomba area, don't miss out on this. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, the views are spectacular and the history is interesting. The idea of the work that must've went into building this is astounding. A must see!

A gorgeous National Trust property with stunning views, a beautifully kept garden and delightful afternoon teas - the scones were freshly baked and delicious! Walking around the gardens was a pleasure, and interesting to learn of the history and previous owner. A cute little gift shop with local produce too.

Amazing art Deco home set in the most splendid garden. One of my favourite places in the Blue Mtns. Best to visit in autumn or spring but such a lovely place to wander and explore the gardens, glades, grotto etc. Join National Trust and enter for free!
